Dispatchers received a frantic 911 call who told them her daughter was trying to kill herself with a knife around 11 30 this morning. Police say when the officer got here he was confronted by a hysterical woman with a knife. The woman followed him, ignoring orders to drop the knife. That is when the officers shot her. When i was standing down there, i saw her laying on the ground. You could see the blood on her shirt. We talked to neighbors who say the woman has a history of depression. Claremont police say an officer this morning. Police have not said why the officer opened fire on cody lafont. The New Hampshire Attorney Generals Office is investigating. She was gasping for air and choking it was crazy. Diane police say the officer shot the 46yearold woman once in the abdomen and was taken to an hospital.
