Reporter the coalition for the homeless said the city is in a tough spot. Were needing to balance the needs of this individual woman against any other Public Health and safety concerns. For now, she can only make sure shes not breaking the law and telling us shes only allowed single cart. How do you help someone like this and get them off of the streets and get them help if theyre refuse something. Engagement, trust building and housing first. The police are searching this morning for her male companion. Thank you. A long island man found guilty in a deadly drag racing crash is arrested again. The Police Arrested 19yearold core glow tuesday. Officers say that they caught him in a speeding car with an illegal knife inside. This arrest may affect his reduced sentence for killing five of his teenage classmates in a drag racing crash in 2049. The attorney said that his client never had possession of and a surprise in the crash that killed four women on a tour of long islands wine country. The limo driver is charged with criminally negligent homicide. Last july, his limo was hit by a pickup truck as he made a u turn on route 48. And he was charged even though the drunk driver was allegedly drunk. And appears to be a first for ware and the driver of the vehicle that has been hit by a drunk driver and an alleged drunk driver and allegedly speeding drunk driver has been that accident. Prosecutors said the pickup truck admitted drinking a few beers but his lawyer maintains he was not drunk. Dallas, texas. An offduty Police Officer is charged with murder in the shooting of a 16yearold boy and wounding of another teen and that occurred sunday evening in the suburb of addison. The offduty officer saw a his apartment complex and gave chase when they plead. After a chase and spinout led to the shooting. The boys mother spoke through a translator. A saying theyre asking for the death penalty. We believe its a capital murder. Thats right. And that justice would be served by him having the same kind of punishment that he provided to her son. Local Police Department policy doesnt allow offduty officers to chase suspects in their own vehicles. The officers attorney said that the officer feared for his life. Five deputies are suspended for their actions at a donald trump rally in North Carolina last week. The deputy his been escorting a black man from the event on march 9th when video shows him being punched by a white man in attendance. A statement said that the three deputies have been demoted. Officials say they had their eyes on the stairs when the man was hit and thiss charged a 78 yearold man with assault and disorderly conduct. 5 08 now. Harlem residents on edge as the hunt is on for the suspect who fatally stabbed a man at a subway station. And this is the latest on in fatal stabbings. Reporter police tell us that in this most recent case after that man was stabbed, he got on a subway train and rode it one stop here to 110th street, a central park North Station where he collapsed and later dayed. We have seen police on patrol as the search continues for that suspect. Medics rushed the 53yearold man out of the central mark north subway station. And at least one stab one to the stomach area. By the time he got to saint lukes hospital, it was too late for doctors to save him. And you never know when its going to happen and can be anyone. Reporter the victim was selling metro card swipes to a woman at the 116th and lennox station. She apparently changed her mind but police say the man grabbed a dollar from her anyway allegedly punching her in the face and she came back with a knife and stabbing the 53year old about once. For whatever reason the victim got on to a train collapsing after one stop and his attacker getting away. And its scary. Its been happening a lot. Reporter tatistics shows show a drop in Violent Crimes. And many people people wonder if that is an accurate crime. Reporter the nypd statistics are quite clear that murders are down and shootings are down. Reporter now, as for the most recent case here in harlem, the woman punched, police were able to detain her at the scene. At this point, its not clear whether she is in custody. The police have not yet released a full description of the attacker in this case, but theyre urging anyone with who may have go information to contact the nypd. Rattled nerves in harlem after a man is fatally stabbed inside a subway station. And his attacker remains at large. Janelle burrell joins us live from the scene. Reporter that man was stabbed at the 116th street and lennox subway station after he was attacked and police say he got on a train, rode it one stop here to central park north where he collapsed inside of that train. And moments later, medics were seen rushing him out of the subway station here and he later died at the hospital. He was selling swipes and rides from his metro card to a woman and they had an argument, the man allegedly punching her in the face. Companion who pulled a knife and stabbed the 53yearold to death. The attacker getting away and that left many residents here in this Harlem Community feeling uneasy. And i am shaking. You never know when it can happen. It can be anyone. And federal prosecutors are investigating elevated blood levels in residents of new york city Public Housing, according to Court Documents involving a probe into Environmental Health and safety conditions and more than 400,000 people live in the complexes. A city spokesman said the Health Department is cooperating with the investigation. And a queens grandfather is facing charges after the grandson brought a loaded gun to school. He brought it to ps40 in jamay bea in his backpack on tuesday. He said he got the gun from underneath the grandfathers bed inside their home and knows how to load and unload it.
