Over the course of last year we talked to several Long Island Railroad commuters who said that service seemed especially bad last year and now it turns out they had a point to new information shows 2015 was especially bad for Long Island Railroad commuters and now the mta says its working on it. This was the scene at penn station earlier this month. Commuters packed shoulder to shoulder amid train delays and now new statistics show trains than at any point since 2000. They cancel trains and the trains are overpacked. Shes not alone after we aired a report about rider grievances using the hash tag we deserve better, more lirr riders took to twitter to complain.
