The nypd says the officers rescued a man who fell into the path of an oncoming train at the times square subway station yesterday. The officers say the man refused any medical attention but those three officers, quick thinking, springing into action and saving a mans life. Thank goodness they were there. Home security video capturing the alleged attacker as he runs up behind the 16yearold girl, who was walking alone to school, around 8 30 wednesday morning. He turns her around and then slashes her across her face and her throat. Shes slashed in her face, twice. Once from ear to her throat, to the middle of the throat and another part of the face as well. Reporter the suspect who police say appears to have been wearing a hooded sweatshirt, surgical mask and gloves run, runs away. The girl, an Exchange Student from china who has only been in months, runs off as well confused and bleeding from her wounds. The attack happened on 137th street. A block from the teens home. Prosecutors have charged a 36 yearold roberto grilllo with a single count of murder. They say he killed her back on december 7th. The medical examiner determined she was strangled. He broke in through a side door and stole packages and gifts. Now to a developing story. A night of mostly peaceful protests in baltimore after a mistrial was declared this the case of the Police Officer charged in the death of freddie gray. Prosecutors argue that porter did not secure gray in the police van and didnt call for medical help when gray asked but a jury could not reach a verdict. The family called for calm. The fbi now says the husband and wife killer Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik never expressed public support for jihad but they did it in private communications. The department of Homeland Security has updated the terrorism advisory system. Previously there were two levels and now theres a new bulletin category. The bulletin is the first change to the advisory system since it replaced the color coded system in 2011. Well three men sent to prison for a crime they didnt have their convictions overturned in brooklyn state supreme court. The three were convicted in the 1980 park slope fire that killed a mother and her five children. In 2012, he contacted the nyu post conviction innocence clinic. The team found no sign of arson and brought their findings to the brooklyn. The District Attorney asked the judge to clear the men because they were convicted on outdated fire science and a lying witness. I will be able to rest if peace because my name has finally been cleared. After all these years in prison, yeah, i feel great. Thank you. Finally out. Two were paroled in 2012 and one died in prison back in 1989. His wife and daughter appeared in court on his behalf. Nearly a year after an nypd detective was killed in the created a foundation in his name. Doctors at nationwide childrens Methodist Hospital ohio conducted the first study to see if they could skip surgery and treat appendicitis using only antibiotics. Three out of four did not have to have the surgery. If we dont have to have surgery and be in pain, if we dont have to have the risk of surgery, it was worth a try. You heard of flu vaccines for people but this year, more than ever, dogs will need not one but possibly two the flu vaccines after a new strain is discovered in canines. Shes been sneezing.
