I live right across the street and it was about 10 35 and i heard a total of five to six gunshots. Loud gunshots. About maybe five minutes later, i heard sirens and helicopters and then i knew it was something serious. I thought it was fire crackers. And i just slammed the door because i was like, i dont know whats going on but i didnt feel that safe. After that, i yell a lot for the police coming. Reporter the nypd says at least some of those gunshots came from the offduty Police Officer after two suspects tried to rob the 32yearold at gun point at 145th avenue near guy r. Brewer boulevard.
