Police say it happened around 5 00 in the morning back on september 15th. Investigators say he approached the woman as she was sitting on a bench and offered to buy her soda and cigarettes. They purchased the items at a riteaid on court street. Investigators say once they left the store, he tried to choke her with a black video chord and remove her clothes using a knife. Police say she began screaming and he ran off. A rikers guard allegedly slashed by inmates faced his accused attackers in court. Officer Raymond Calderon appeared in court yesterday with the suspects. Both inmates are suspected gang members. Rikers is on lockdown as officials search for the weapon. Director Quentin Tarantino is facing new threats for his controversial comments about police shootings.
