Police and animal control spent several hours here. 132 hillcrest has been on their radar for some time. It was terrifying. I didnt want my life to go back down that road. Reporter but he doesnt have to. New york city now has its first Sober High School. I dont think i could be in a more supportive violent. Reporter its the Newport Academy day school. Its a private school and tuition is steep 5,000 a year. 50,000 a year. The price is on par similar to almost all other private schools in manhattan. Reporter in addition to giving students the tools to stay off drugs and alcohol. Theres therapy, meditation, yoga. Without wellness and well being, what do you have . Country there are 35 public Sober High Schools but none in new york city. I absolutely feel like im knocking my head against the wall. Its high in energy, vitamins, and minerals. But it drives up blood sugar with a high glycemic content. She never thought twice about eat a baked potato. I had a healthy diet. Potatoes are part of my diet. Reporter a new study from the National Institutes of health suggests women should take a closer look at their prepregnancy meals. They found eating potatoes before conceiving may be linked to diabetes. High blood sugar that comes on during pregnancy. Potatoes elevate blood sugar in people more than just about any other type of food. So they are carbohydrates and all carbohydrates have the potential. Reporter researchers asked more than 15,000 women how often they ate potatoes over women who ate more potatoes had higher rates of gestational diabetes than those who consumed fewer. This is a study that reinforces the ada we should eat everything in moderation. Reporter substitute other things for two servings of potatoes a week lowered it by 9 to 12 . Women to developed gestational diabetes put themselves at high Blood Pressure and permanent diabetes later in life and puts the baby at risk for the same. The risk factor is obesity so doctors say expectant mothers should always maintain a healthy weight. Now, the study did not find that potatoes directly cause gestational diabetes. Its an association. But given potatoes well known act to raise blood sugar the link is plausible. The cdc says more than 9 of pregnant women will investigate gestational diabetes in most cases going away. Class action lawsuit against a popular Fitness Company sole cycle can go forward according to a california judge. Soulcycle breaks the law by imposing a 30day Expiration Date on some class passes. If the pass expires, soulcycle keeps the money. The judge ruled that the passes were gift cards and by federal law it prohibits expiration periods of less than 5 years. Once they graduate they learn the skills for the next one. But the goal is they are completely 100 independently cooking preparing packaging every, single item of food. Every, Single Person has got to the final level and they are working on the part of cooking it. Reporter 24yearold jonathan says before this he could only find jobs peeling potatoes.
