Yeah, ready for it, too. Good morning. Were looking at skies that have started to dry out. There is still lingering clouds over new jersey and delaware, but it is not raining in cape may. The storms have move the offshore and the clouds will be thinning out nicely. And sunshine, that will be bright. Still steamy this morning. High heemumidity, but that also will be dropping. Wind is calm in the suburbs. Philadelphia is 76. This is very close to what we saw yesterday at this time. No sign of any fog even with the high humidity in the lehigh valley, 73 degrees right now and middle 70s for delaware. A warmup . Yeah, a big one. Near 90 this afternoon for philadelphia. Lots of sunshine for the suburbs and new jersey, you will see the temperatures climb into the upper 80s for inland areas, low 80s at the shore. Look at the lehigh valley, delaware, well into the 80s this afternoon. What you want need is an umbrella, but that may be changing this evening. A look ahead when i come back in a few minutes. All right. Thanks. Now to breaking news in south philadelphia. That is where a mural of former mayor frank rizzo has become the target of vandals. Randy gyllenhaal is live at 9th and washington with more on what happened there. Reporter criminal vandals striking again, targeting another frank rizzo memorial, this time the mural in south philadelphia. I just finished speaking with police, they tell me the vandals this time had mason jars full of white paint, its 134rsplatterel over the ground. An officer was on patrol when he came in this parking lot where the frank rizzo mural is located. He found a number of kids with spray paint and other sorts of paint tagging this wall. There is antipolice graffiti, offensive messages as well as paint on rizzos face plus rip david, that is likely a reference to david jones who was shot and killed by police earlier this year. Much of the attention recently has been on the frank wrrizzo statue. Yesterday vandals actually hit that statue, as well, spray painting the words black power on to the statue. One person was arrested in that case. In terms of this case here, this new one overnight in south philadelphia, police tell me at least one person is in custody, that officer was actually patrolling frank can i see sew mural here to make sure nobody was up to anything and he found those kids, took off after them, actually chased them down according to police they dropped the glass jars of paint along the way. You saw them scattered along the street there. Right now they tell us one person in custody and they will continue investigating as well as patrolling these murals and statues that have caused such division here in philadelphia. But the breaking news overnight, another vandalism incident this time targeting the mural here in south philadelphia. From the italian market, Randy Gyllenhaal, 234nbc 10 news. New overnight, police are investigating a shooting outside a Philadelphia Bar that september one man sent one man to the hospital. A man shot in the arm, now in stable condition. Police have made no arrests. New this morning in western pennsylvania, two state troopers shot in a gunbattle with a suspect are expected to recover. The shootout happened outside a Grocery Store in Fayette County about an hour south of pittsburgh. Here is a look at the scene of the stop and shop store. Police say the gunfire broke out around 9 o 00 last night. The suspect was killed. Medics transported the wounded troopers to hospitals, both reported to be stable and alert. In florida, more violence against police. One officer is dead, another seriously wounded following a shooting in central florida. It happened in kissimmee, near orlando. Police say the officers were checking people in an area of the city known for drug activity when they were shot. Authorities say the officers had no chance to return fire. Three suspects now under arrest. Police are looking for a fourth. And in was the scene last night in jacksonville, florida where two other Police Officers were shot. One of them is in critical condition. The other stable. Authorities say the officers were responding to reports of an attempted suicide at a home where other people inside were thought to be in danger. Police shot a man who came out of the house firing a rifle. The gunman died at the hospital. New to the deadly terror attacks in spain. Police there looking to make more arrests as they search for members of a suspected terror cell. Vehicle and gunfire attacks thursday evening in barcelona and another town killed 14 people and injured more than 100 others. One american died in barcelona. Hours later, Police Killed five suspect jihadists and arrested four others they say were linked to the attacks claimed by isis. Investigators suspect the attackers original plan was to build a truck bomb that would explode in barcelona. Philadelphia International Airport was scene of emotional reunions as travelers returned. One was in the surf along the mississippi avenue beach thursday night. A lifeguard on an after hours patrol spotted two people struggling in the water around 7 30, one a young boy. This is good news. This wind out of the west southwest northwest is dry air slowly moving in. So even though its steamy this morning, the humidity will be dropping during the day. Clouds are Still Producing showers to our south, but they will be heading out. Clouds will be breaking for lots of sunshine. But this evening, more clouds moving in, you can see the showers that are moving to the midwest into the ohio valley. There is a chance that a few neighborhoods will see some of those during the evening hours. But most of the day it will just be sunny and warm. 1 30 in afternoon, look at those clouds thinning out for new jersey and delaware, bright sunshine, mostly sunny skies in new jersey and clear skies with sunshine for redding, allentown and the suburbs. And then late in the afternoon, a few scattered clouds in our area, but look at the showers from the west. That is another system that will really fall apart as it moves into the area. This is the latest update and it shows that it fizzles as it goes in to the evening hours. So this is now looking less likely. Might be a few sprinkles during the evening hours, but those clouds will clear out overnight and behind this next round of clouds is much more comfortable air for tomorrow. The humidity will be coming way down tomorrow. So it is steamy this morning. This will drop some during the day. But its really going to be comfortable, almost falllike tomorrow. The humidity much lower for sunday and still on the low side monday, but it will start to creep up on monday. And then steam heat on tuesday. The humidity is really going to ramp up and so will the temperatures. Temperatures will be climbing into the 90s tuesday. Well see sunshine for most of the afternoon on monday. The Solar Eclipse of course will get a new view of it from our area. 86 degrees, it peaks at 2 44. And typically what happens when you get an eclipse, the temperature will plateau or even come down a little bit because so much of the sunlight has been blocked. So we could see that this afternoon. So 86 at 2 44 and still 86 at 4 00. Time for the temperatures to rebound a bit monday afternoon to warm up. Today it will be steamy to start with, but it turns less humid during the day.
