Theres new information in the Hillary Clinton email scandal. According to the associated press, clinton asked the National Security agency for a secured government cell phone when she became secretary of state in 2009 but newly released email showed they denied that request. A month later she reportletly began using private email accounts access through her blackberry. She claims she never received anything marked classified at the time. Turning now to decision 2016. Mrs. Clinton continues to move closer to clinching the democratic nomination for president. Shes only 777 delegates shy of locking up the majority of delegates, but Bernie Sanders is not letting up. The vermont senator say as a strong showing in upcoming states could cause super delegates to come over to his side and give him the support he needs to win. On the republican side, donald trump has a delegate lead, but he may not be able to secure the delegates to win the nomination outright. Yeah. That would lead to a contested convention. Yesterday on cnn trump warned what could happen if he denied the nomination while having the most delegates. I dont think you can say that we dont get it automatically. I think it would be i think youd have riots. You know, im representing a tremendous many, many millions of people. Fresh off his win in ohio, he was back on the stump in our area. He held a town hall in villanova. He said a fight for the nomination in cleveland is likely. It is unlikely that anybody is going to achieve enough delegates to avoid a convention. Well go back to her report in just a little bit. Families are fighting to shut down a berks county Detention Center. Their license was revoked back in january but it remains back in operation as the berks county operators appeal that decision. Families being held at the Detention Center filed a petition to participate in the legal battle. The petition argues it violates the law by detaining children and adults together. The center in reading houses Refugee Families as well. Fleeing violence and persecution and when they come to this country instead of being welcomed and offered refuge theyre put in jail under inhumane conditions. The former detainees also claim medical care at the center is not sufficient. They say the center is facing a possible outbreak after a child was recently diagnosed with a highly infectious disease. And happening today, philadelphias Historical Commission will meet to discuss the possibility of making a former mob bosss home an official landmark. The row home once belonged to angelo bruno who ran the mob in the city in the 60s and 70s. The gentle don as he was known was murdered in front of his home and now its known for its official landmark status. Despite it, some people are behind the idea. People loved angelo bruno.
