Some flooding which has already occurred in parts of the area and some possible severe thunderstorms tonight as that Second System comes in. As we look at the radar, its pretty clear, delaware youre in the clear. Most of pennsylvania is but theres this cluster of storms in new jersey and some of these have really intensified over the last hour. We didnt even have any lightning a couple hours ago. Weve had tremendous rains in parts of salem and Cumberland County. Some places have had over 3 inches of rain already. Now, some of the latest cells are right near camden. Through much of Camden County Gloucester County has been getting hit hard in west Deptford Township cumberland and even inland portions of Atlantic County getting rain. Poconos had heavy showers but they have weakened. We do have advisories, general flood adviseories until 2 45 and a Flash Flood Warning for this part of salem and Cumberland County that had over 3 inches of rain already. The horses moved to the back. Reporter Alameda County fire Officials Say two fires started within a mile of each other around 10 00 a. M. The larger fire burned 35 acres and came within feet of a 4 million home currently up for sale. Today the realtor stopped by to see the damage. I am really very relieved. Reporter fire crews were able to save the house and the barn that briefly caught fire. The area that started to catch fire was the shingles. They did have to go back on the roof and peel some shingles back to save the barn. Reporter firefighters braved the intense heat and moderate winds. Both fires were knocked down in less than an hour with help from crews in the sky dropping flame retardant. You could see flames right at the top. Reporter neighbors in the area say todays close call is a frightening reminder that fire season could continue for months.
