New this morning, Philadelphia Police arrested a woman and two men in the shooting of a cab driver earlier this month in grace ferry. Kristen carroll and Michael Jones and wilson are facing charges. The trio hopped in a cab and the two men attempted to rob the driver at gun point. The two men both fired at the driver who was hit in the shoulder. The cab crashed and the suspects were on the loose until the tip helped officers track them down. Two philadelphia teens are hospitalized after a driveby shooting and the violence was all caught on camera. The shooting happened at 31st and grays ferry. In the video you can see the two teens standing outside a Chinese Restaurant when a car drives by and someone opens fire and one teen ran away and the other ducked inside a restaurant and witnesses heard multiple shots and a 17yearold was hit in the leg and arm and the 15yearold is in Critical Condition and police have not made any arrests. A fight at a party leads to a deadly shooting outside of a cherry hill motel and the shooting happened at the inn around 2 30 sunday morning and police say both the victims were driven in a private vehicle to the hospital. A 17yearold later died. A 20yearold man was treated and released. Police say both victims were shot inside a car near the motels front entrance following a fight at a party inside one of the motel rooms. No arrests have yet been made and firefighters say everyone got out of this burning home safely this morning. Sky force 10 over buren avenue in camden around 7 30 this morning. It took about a half hour to get this fire under control. Investigators are looking into what started this fire. Fire investigators are expected to release new information today about a deadly fire in delaware county. A woman was found dead inside this home in boothwin earlier this month. The victims husband who went back inside to save his wife is recovering in the hospital. And in New Castle County police are looking for the driver in the hit and run crash that killed a man. The accident happened just before 9 30 last night in hopes cannen. State police say the car plowed into Jeremiah Mccarthy as he was trying to cross Lancaster Pike at ace Memorial Drive and then the driver took off. Mccarthy was not crossing hoyt at a cross walk. And happening today, one of the men involved in the kidnapping and torture of a philadelphia Jewelry Store employee is scheduled to be sentenced. Khayree gay pleaded guilty to last years botched robbery attempt at the National Watch and diamond exchange. Gay and another man did surveillance on the store after being recruited by salahudin shaheed. The three men approacheded a female employee in a parking garage in april. They useded a stun gun on her and then bound her and dumped her in a cemetery. Shaheed was sentenced to 30 years behind bars earlier this month. His accomplice basil buie received a 15year sentence. A court is scheduled to hear arguments involving new jersey senator bob menendez. He is charged with bribery and fraud. Judges selected the University Student from a field of 18 contestants and shell compete in the 2016, miss pennsylvania pageant in june and we are thrilled to have holly with us this morning. Welcome. Thank you for coming in. Thank you for having me. Tell us what saturday night was like for you. It was a whirl wind for sure. Im honored to represent them and represent the city of philadelphia. It was fun for me to watch your reaction and watching the video and its probably still a great experience. You advocate for disabilities. Tell me why this issue is so important to you and why its a personal issue for you. Sure. When i was 11 years old my cousin passed away due to medical complications due to juvenile arthritis and i want to promote inclusion for people with disabilities. There was a special tribute saturday night to miss new jersey, 2013 cara mccollum. Her boyfriend is my colleague keith jones. Was that a powerful moment . It was. We had a moment of silence for her during the pageant and they showed a quick clip of one of her music videos that she did for the miss new jersey pageant a few years ago, and we actually managed to collect 86 books for her cause, the birthday book project. So were happy to keep that going for as long as we can. She was a pageant winner like you. I think it speaks to the power of the title and the power of the crown that you carry, right . Of course. Tell me what your goals are. We chatted here for a few moments and i learned that you are studying communications. I am. You one day want to become a reporter. Thats the dream. Maybe some day reporting on the red carpet, Something Like that. Id like to be in front of the camera some day. You keep it up and that may very well happen. Right now youre doing an internship. I am. In harrisburg. Very excited about that. Going well. Learning a lot every day. So that is fantastic, miss philadelphia 2016 and holly harrar has been our guest. Thank you so much. Getting our weather right today from gusty winds to showers and now were starting to see the skies lighten up a little bit. You will see sunshine before the day is done. You can see the wind is starting to pick up at the nbc 10 studios and not a lot of rainfall. It will dry out quickly and showers very light in Philadelphia International and the temperature, 51 degrees and the southwest winds at 9 miles an hour and they tend to help us warm up and we will see that during the day today. Check this out. This is a time lapse of the rain moving through the pocono mountains and unfortunately the mountains saw a rain and it was too warm for anything else and you can see in the distance right there and there go another batch of rain showers moving through and it didnt look like it interrupted the skiing at all and as the day goes on, more and more sunshine will appear. Its still significant cloud cover in the mountains and you can see some breaks of sunshine peeking through and well see more and more of that during the afternoon and it will be a mild one in the mountains and show the clouds over scranton and a few breaks in the clouds ahead of that line of clouds and then we will see more sunshine later this afternoon. As far as rain is concerned, its done in philadelphia, but there are still showers right along the shore and its light rain showers and its ended in cape may and it wont be much longer in Atlantic City and then were watching a system thats way to the west. Thats snow in south dakota and thats our next rainmaker and thats going to be different than the system that moved through today because that one is going to bring with it colder air that will set the stage for the possibility of snow at the end of the week. Today, showers are already coming to an end in philadelphia and the light showers will end at the shore and gusty winds will stay with us through this afternoon. A nice, mild end to february and another nice, mild start tomorrow and march begins tomorrow. 58 degrees and thats after that colder morning. Sunshine, bright and a nice, warm breeze on tuesday, but then here comes that rain on wednesday and with it, the colder temperatures that youll probably feel by Late Wednesday afternoon and youll definitely feel on thursday, though it will be sunny on thursday and a chilly one, 29 in the morning and 42 degrees in the afternoon and thats below normal for this time of year and here comes a possibility that well see wintry weather on friday and it doesnt look very impressive and most of that storm will miss us, but it might come close enough that well get some light rain and well be watching friday closely. A break from the wet weather on saturday and a bit warmer for the next chance of showers and on sunday, a High Temperature of 50 degrees. Well be right back. The temperature now 51 degrees and well see it warm into the upper 50s today and the winds are going to push the clouds right out of here so you can put the rain gear away and were already starting to see breaks of sunshine in philadelphia and now as expected, the wind is kicking in and look at the wind gusts for more than 20 miles an hour in wilmington and we can see that this afternoon in philadelphia. That wasnt too bad, was it . Seeing a few breaks of sunshine this afternoon and more and more sunshine as the day goes on and that steady wind. 50s for today and getting chilly by tomorrow morning and well need a heavier coat when you come in tomorrow morning than you did today.
