Im not comfortable with municipalities where elected officials will tell Law Enforcement not to collaborate with customs and Immigration Enforcement. Neighbors are telling me she just turned 96 this past january. Here at her home, behind her home is where the attack happened. She was attacked by at least one dog. Police contained two dogs here on the 5800 block of brush road. This happened about 3 30 this afternoon. We spoke to neighbors who heard some yelling and they came out and this is what they tell us. Put her in the cop car and put her in the ambulance, her face was mangled. That was it. Reporter neighbors are going door to door along with detectives trying to find out what happened to this woman. Were finding out shes 96, her injuries were extensive. She is now alert and talking, sent to the hospital in Critical Condition but been upgraded to stable condition at einstein medical center. Crews are working to stabilize the area and run new gas and water lines. The ground opened up on brook street in glenside around 3 30 this morning. The hole is more than 20 feet deep in some places. Three homes no longer safe to be inside. A knock on the door from the policemen who said you have to move your car. It was out on the street or it will fall into a sinkhole. Reporter water and gas have been cut to the block while crews run new lines. When the water is restored, people affected will need to boil the water until it is deemed safe. Government report coauthored by a Rutgers University researcher predicts disruptive and damaging floods will become far more frequent later this century because of rising sea levels. I think theyll see drastic changes. The report found that a Sea Level Rise of less than 14 inches could cause a dramatic increase in flooding in much of the coastal u. S. And under certain scenarios, a one in five year flood would happen an average of five times a year. Its really concerning. These coastal communities have to set forth the time to figure out how to plan for the future.
