Coastal towns got the most snow from the overnight storm, dropping up to 7 inches before the storm finally blew offshore. The deepest snow cape may, which hasnt seen that much this winter until now. In this area people have been shoveling and using their snow blowers all day long. The concern tonight as we move into the evening hours is black ice. Emergency management officials tell me that road crews are going to continue to put salt down on the roads because they are worried that as the temperatures drop a lot of this slush that is still on the roads and the water thats on the roads from the snow melting is going to freeze. Then through the afternoon tomorrow well see a few snow showers try to move in. 6 00 tomorrow evening. They could just be off to our west. Wednesday afternoon we start to watch an area of snow just to our wednesday. These snow showers by 6 p. M. Should start to approach the area. Later into wednesday evening, 10 00, snow showers moving in, kind of scattered. Theyll be through the late hours. Not like what we saw last night, but enough to give a coating or an inch across the area. Thursday morning were waking up to dry conditions. But that cold air starts to filter in and strong winds. Some winds might below in lakeeffect snow showers. The model is picking that up for thursday afternoon as well. We will be watching that. We go into friday. The arctic air, look how much of the eastern half of the country as arctic hair moves in. Midwest, northeast, down into the carolinas, moving into the southeast. Some ice is just on the top of the surface. Emergency crews tell us the water is flowing underneath as we take a look all throughout the Delaware River.
