Ray bats struck Brandon Kincaid with the bus last tuesday while he was in the wheelchair in a parking lot. Parents of special neilds students are upset today after broken down bus without food, water or access to bathrooms. This happened in sumter, South Carolina. The district superintendent says the parents have a right to be frustrated this is the 10th time the stateowned bus has broken down and the parents are not wrong in saying this is part of a bigger ongoing issue. We are at the mercy of what the state gives us in terms of equipment to repair them. Even staff like the mechanics, the bus shop is understaffed with mechanics and getting the running. Both teams a good chance of going to the state playoffs but are now done with the season. But School Leaders are appealing the punishment. David whisenant live in salisbury this afternoon. The players on both teams were all suspended for the next two contests and that means even if they play spring sport it is would carry over into track or baseball. The Association Says when players come off the bench they are automatically ejected and suspended. This is in rowan county. A reporter out there David Whisenant tells me this is the Richfield Community in eastern rowan county. Rowan communications confirmed it was a grass fire involved two buildings as well. You can see units on scene hosing stuff down. And it appears that they have the fire out. We do not have that confirmed but it looks like they are doing touchup work and trucks on scene as well. And this is appears to be in a wooded area of rowan county. We are going to see if we can get more information how this happened and what caused that fire and check to see if there are reported injuries. Back to you
