This Morning Police are searching for a darkcolored honda or toyota. Describing it as some type of sedan. The 45yearold man, the victim here, was crossing the street in front of the boys and girls club just before 11 00 last night when he was struck by the driver who never stopped. The 911 call came in shortly after 11 00 last night. It happened here at the corner of 21st street and 30th road. Police say the man was crossing when a darkcolored toyota or honda hit him and left the scene. The impact left the victims shoes and pieces of the car in the intersection. The man was pronounced dead at elmhurst hospital a short time later. Police are hopeful that pieces of the car left behind will lead them to their hit and run driver but people in this area say this is a dangerous intersection, it is not well lit and drivers often speed here. You have kids coming out of the Community Center and you or go down there and cross the street. Meanwhile, people have been trying to get a traffic light over here, but it hasnt happened. The search is on for several people involved in an Armed Robbery spree in upper manhattan. The suspects were involved in two robberies the same day last month. The first incident the suspects threatened a man with a gun on riverside boulevard on the Upper West Side but took off when he screamed. An hour later police say they threatened two women with a knife and gun from Washington Heights and stole the victims cell phones, credit cards and cash. A subway stabbing we told you 11 00. Police have released a picture of the suspect and the attack of a 13yearold. Detectives a this teenage girl last night. The pair had an argument on a manhattanbound train. The victims condition is 5 34. A Science Teacher in newtown, connecticut charged with bringing a gun to a middle school. Jason adams has a gun permit but it is not legal to carry a weapon in a school there. Adams is now on administrative leave.
