French police announced they are looking for a second fugitive directly involved in the attack. The unnamed fugitive along with Salah Abdeslam escaped after the massacre. Reporter make no mistake, liz, here in paris and throughout europe, they are a little edgy. We are at the eiffel tower earlier today. They were supposed to open it up for tourists but suddenly someone saw someone with something and they started getting the people back a safe distance from the eiffel tower. Its going to be that way for a while. People here are on edge. And so to isis, a threat that stretches beyond borders of land and faith. The world is now responding. Reigns of suspected terrorists are happening now throughout europe and the mideast. Vladimir putin acknowledged his Russian Airliner was bombed out of the sky over Sharm Elsheikh by isis. And he has ordered intensive bombings of targets in syria, france has stepped up its Bombing Campaign there as well. With lebanons attacks, with whats happened in egypt, with ankara, turkey, with the attacks now in paris, we have to step up our efforts. Reporter all that as the intense and crucial manhunt for two of the attackers and the plots mastermind continue. And even if you saw them every day, their behavior was quite normal. Reporter he would know, Salah Abdeslam was one of the attackers and his brother told cnn today that abdeslam might seem normal but these are not regular people. Doubt that they have been prepared. That they must not leave any trace which would cause suspicion that they might do such things. The investigators say ma pseudofariqi never examined the building. The report also revealed that a consultant inspecting a different building noticed the cracked facade and took a picture. Reporter well, day the goal here according to the army corps of engineers and the town of east hampton is to protect downtown montauk from flooding so theyre building a 3,000 foot long wall of sandbags about 14,000 sandbags. Residents here are furious. 16 of them have been arrested over the past two weeks for standing or lying in front of the bulldozers and Environmental Group out here called defend h 2 o filed a federal lawsuit saying theyre violating law which prohibits structures along ocean front. They say the sandbags are considered structures. There have been protests out here every single day since the work began about two weeks ago. The army corps says the 8. 4 million project underwent extensive internal and external review and they stand behind the project as the best way to protect downtown montauk. But residents out here say its ruining the sensitive ecosystem and ruining the beauty of their beach. The top story this half hour, mothers desperate attempt to save her child during a fire. The woman was forced to toss her baby to an officer below before jumping from a boll quayny. The flames balcony. The flames burned through a home in North Brunswick and new jersey reporter Anthony Johnson talked to the woman and he has more. Anthony . Reporter well, dave, you the Apartment Building right behind me. Agent apartments in this eight apartments in this building have now been turned to nothing more than rubble and some of the residents tried to come back this afternoon and to claim some of the items inside of that building. But they couldnt get inside because it is simply too dangerous. Now 18 people have been left homeless. The roaring fire sent smoke into the air to be seen for miles and newscopter 7 was overhead as the firefighters mounted an exterior attack to knock down the raging blaze. She had no choice but to jump from a second floor balcony to save her and her 10monthold daughter. She jumped into the arms of this North Brunswick cop. Policeman and some other men came over and i just dropped the baby in his hand and i jumped also in their hands and thats how we got saved. Neighbors opened their doors to residents fleeing with just the clothes on their backs. And a lot of people were outside screaming and you know, running and getting this their it was just really bad. Reporter the blaze spread eight apartments. There were reports that two firefighters were trapped in a roof collapse but they escaped unharmed. The fire did travel quite quickly so we had a long jump on us before we were able to actually get water on to it. Within the first few minutes arriving we had heavy fire through the roof of the entire structure. Reporter now if families are coming to grips with trying to rebuild their lives as they head into the Holiday Season.
