When the last occurred the dad was going to work in princeton and he left his children not knowing that he would never see his 24yearold son alive again. The socalled gas episode happened in a second floor apartment and involved a family that had recently moved in and may have had trim paying rent and now appear trouble paying rent and now appears the power was shot off to the second floor shut off to the second floor apartment following an issue with the landlord living in a basement apartment. And was taken to the hospital for observation. The suspect escaped on a southbound train. A man with a track record of illegally operating different forms of Public Transportation expected in court tonight on new charges. Police busted Darius Mccollum in park slope, brooklyn. After they say he stole a Greyhound Bus from the Port Authority bus term normal. His friends terminal. His friends say he lives with aspergers syndrome citing the disorder as the reason he has served time in the past for a series of similar incidents. Michael lived here in the quiet upscale neighborhood. Today we watched his friends rally around his family. His mom is here. Family who was asking for privacy during this very, very difficult time. Again, today the medical examiner confirmed to us investigators suspected someone killed michael. Hit the 35yearold in the head with something. Sunday night a friend reported the athlete missing and he was last seen thursday afternoon here in closer. Police found his suv in the midwood section of brooklyn on tuesday. His body was in the backseat underneath several garbage bags. The lexus had been parked in that spot on east 16th street since sunday. Now michael was drafted by the knicks in 2001 but ended up not playing. He then went overseas and played there for years. The 68 forward was a standout at the university of arizona. A 20 billion plan to build a new rail tunnel is now on track. Today officials in new york and new jersey and announcing an agreement to create the Gateway Development corporation, it will oversee the massive tunnel project. Lawmakers say a new tunnel is needed because the tunnel used now by amtrak and new Jersey Transit is 100 years old and deteriorating and was damaged by superstorm sandy. Well have to start taking ferries across the hudson. Like in the days of old. But if we get it done in time, and we fix the old tunnels and have the new tunnels, it will mean a speedier and better commute and fewer delays on amtrak and for all of those in new Jersey Transit. Well, the tunnel project is expected to cost up to 20 billion, federal officials and amtrak say they will be responsible for half the cost.
