Fellow Fire Fighters carried casket of the lieutenant Christopher Leach into Saint Elizabeth church in wilmington this morning. We watched them today as they for the back tears to get proper farewell to these men, that they earned. It was a day to pay respect to two men who paid the ultimate sacrifice for public safety. Lieutenant Christopher Leach, and senior fire fighter jerry fickes were laid to rest by family, friend, and legion of fellow Fire Fighters. I think everybody, in the the fire service, surrounded pie fire Service Knows what we put on the line every day and it is just a great showing of respect, tradition. Reporter leach and fickes died during a floor collapse during a fire last saturday. They both leave behind children who can take some comfort in knowing everyone sees their dads as heroes. Deep down, it was all about their kids, second was the fire service, and their families. They absolutely, loved fire fighting. Reporter in the firehouse they were both men for having a sense of humor, lieutenant leachs nickname was danger. It wasnt danger in the sense of danger you are scared of or afraid of because you knew something was coming. Then you just laugh and go. Delaware Authorities Say that this woman is responsible for deaths of the two wilmington Fire Fighters laid to rest today, 27 yearold Beatrice Ruiz is facing murder and arson charges. Authorities say she was trunk, using anxiety medication when she started the fire in her testimonilys lake view road home on saturday. Four others were hurt in the fire last week, two remain hospitalized. Investigators are still trying to determine why a new Jersey Transit train, crashed, during thursdays morning rush hour in hoboken, new jersey. The ntsb believes that some tools could be found in the event recorders. One of those was pulled last night, the other will take sometime to recover. New Jersey Transit Service Remains suspended indefinitely into and out of the hoboken terminal, and 15 people remained hospitalized.
