Officials said they sent an alert at 4 49 p. M. A bart train operator called to say a woman was underneath a train on the westbound track. Everyone was leaving and they said the station was closed so i turned around and left and went back to work. Reporter Emergency Responders uncoupled the cars and found the woman alive. Sources tell ktvu she was talking and had a head injury. After about an hour b. A. R. T. Workers and police reopened the track but delays continued. I got here around 6 15 and i went down to the station and the platform was completely packed. People were trying to get in to a train that was already pretty much full. Reporter train after train rolled by, lines lingered with only a few passengers boarding at a time. One woman with her baby said she waited more than 30 minutes, the trains too full for her to sit with her stroller. The trains are just packed. So a guy tried to help me get on but ive got this big stroller so theres no way im pushing that today. For this time of day, yes. Its a little more than what id normally see this time of evening. She was taken to the hospital and incredibly shes expected to survive. A Top Executive at ac transit is accused of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars, not from the Transit District but from his church. Lewis clinton, jr. Is the chief Financial Officer for ac transit. The Alameda CountyDistrict Attorney says he embezzled a half million from a Baptist Church in oakland. Clinton was the board president of two church corporations that were supposed to provide help to low and moderate income people in oakland. Clinton is accused of using that money for his Childrens Private School as well as his own mortgage and a golf club membership. A Security Guard at a hospital in san jose is behind bars for the alleged molestation of family members and having child pornography. 49yearold Derrick Hammond sexually abused two young girls for years. Authorities say the molestation began when one girl was 11 and the other was 5. They lived in the home that hammond shared with his wife until their marriage ended. The girls are now older and decided to come forward. We always try to resolve these cases short of trial just to spare victims. Its very traumatic for them to go through the trial process. Hammond is a long time Security Guard at valley medical center. Investigators say they found violent and graphic child pornography on his computer. Hammond is being held without bail. Hes scheduled to enter a plea on may 16th. Santa clara sheriffs deputies may be put to work in san jose. The county board of supervisors will be discussing the idea tomorrow to help boost the number of patrol officers in san jose. The city has been dealing with a dwindling police force. It began with budget cut and pension reforms. The county would offer the services on a contract basis. Deputies will likely patrol near county borders like transit lines and unincorporated parts of the city. A witness needs to come forward tonight. A woman who may have witnessed the Sexual Assault in a public park. Deborah at gabrielson park. Investigators say a woman was lourdes in to was lured by s lured by meeting for drinks by a man offering to help her get a job. Reporter a woman says shes been raped and has locked herself in, pleading for police to come. Waiting outside the door, her alleged attacker who was arrested without even realizing shes on the phone. Reporter police say this nearby park was the scene of the rape, just after dark last friday. A 51yearold man identified as Diego Rodriguez allegedly coaxed the woman to meet him in sausalito. He had mentioned to her that he might be able to get her a job where he worked. Reporter police say they spent a few hours downtown together. Hed asked her if they could go have some drinks, just kind of hang out that night. She wanted to go home. He made a comment to her that he wanted to show her something in town. Reporter thats when they walked the short distance to the park, sitting on a bench by the bay. He started to force himself on her. Once the sexual acts were completed, they walked together back to one of the local hotels. Reporter and she made a bee line for the bathroom up on the second floor of hogios restaurant. There was no awareness. Reporter dine diners had no idea and the victim says no one else was in the restroom when she fled there. Her call was that she had been raped in sausalito, that she was in a bathroom at a restaurant, that she didnt know exactly where it was at the time and the man was outside the door. My heart goes out to her. Reporter those who frequent the park are shocked but say its pitch black here after dark. Youre just outside of where help can be or where people can see and you just never know. He was forcing himself upon her. What degree she was resisting, were still looking in to. Reporter the Victim Told Police someone walked by with a flashlight during the assault but may not have grasped what was happening. An unusual situation at Oakland International airport. A tsa screener found a large knife inside some enchiladas that were in a womans carryon bag. It happened this morning at the Alaska Airlines screening station. While scanning a passengers bag, the agent spotted something suspicious. The woman told authorities she didnt know how it got there and they apparently believed her because she was cleared for travel. The tsa could fine the woman as much as 10,000. San jose Police Officer today pleaded not guilty to charges of rape. 38yearold jeffrey graves did not speak this afternoon as he left the courthouse in san jose. Prosecutors say he assaulted a woman at a hotel in september. The woman had been taken to the hotel after a domestic disturbance call. According to reports, the woman waited three weeks before reporting the alleged rape and it happened, the reporting, after the chp had stopped her for suspicion of driving under the influence. The Prosecutor Says that has no effect on the rape case. Any notion that she somehow trumped up accusation like this to get out of a dui is irrelevant. Graves is free on 100,000 bail. A witness has said the fedex truck was on fire before the crash but after reviewing the scene, the ntsb said theres no evidence of a fire. It happened about 3 50 this afternoon at the headquarters for Alameda County industries. Police say employees found the grenades and called 911. The family of a man shot and killed by San FranciscoPolice Officervise take officers have taken the first steps toward filing a lawsuit against the city. Police were called to heights on march 31st after they had calls of a man with a gun. Police fired on nieto after police say he pointed a weapon to them. City Council Members say theyve been hearing from residents who feel pot gardens are a magnet for thieves.
