This morning a bus bridge has been set up between the pittsburgh and North Concord stations. Bart said 80 cars had the same kind of damage as they traveled near the west oakland station. We dont know if its connected many we dont know if what was causing that at west oakland through the tube is the same thing here. We know its the same symptoms. Bart said until they can pinpoint the source of the problem and fix it people should expect more bus rides and crowded trains. This again the the second day that passengers have to deal with that bus bridge after a mysterious power surge knocked out more than two dozen bart cars on wednesday thats expected to have a Ripple Effect throughout the morning. Police in berkeley made an arrest in connection with a shooting on tuesday that critically injured a 28year old. We dont know the suspects name yet but police say that he gave up yesterday at the Berkeley Police station. The shooting happened just before noon on tuesday near san pablo avenue in delaware. In the meantime police are still out searching for a gunman in a separate double shoot that injured a man and woman early yesterday morning. A driver who police say hit and severely injured a 6year old in castro last week has been arrested. Daniel morris was driving a stolen ford fusion when he jumped the cushion meadow view drive hit that 6yearold who was walking to school with his grandmother. His little boys leg was pinned under the car. He is still in the hospital. The sheriffs office, the chp, the United States marshall teamed newspaper the search for morris after more than a week they say they found him hiding in a motel in haywood.
