print, the letter goes on to say that the reason they shut off cell phone service back on august 11th was to protect the safety of the customers within the bart system. that has many ramifications and the letter did not say if cell phone service at stations today would be cut off but the letter suggests it would be if public safety was an issue. 96 trains and two thirds of all trains were affected
