last week. that's when we saw back-to-back mudslides over in aisles canyon, really, again, causing major delays. and then they actually had to shut everything down, which went into the weekend. but as of this morning and you'll see in just a second here, you know, trains are back up and running. this was a visual from 5 o'clock this morning. it was a good amount of people who utilize, you know, francisco forty-niners, they will no longer play at levi stadium for this season. but the good news is they don't care because they get to play another game. they move on to play the philadelphia eagles their last game this season against the dallas cowboys and they walked off the field smiling. the dallas cowboys walked off the field and was thinking about vacation because they are officially on vacation after the forty-niners beat them 19 to 12. >> 2 high scoring offense is the forty-niners averaging. 26 points. cowboys. 27 points. they didn't even break 20 points, but it didn't matter because the san francisco forty-niners defense was for roche's. brock purdy did not have all of fame game, but he didn't act 2. >> because their defense took care of business. keeping dak prescott to just 12 points. and more importantly, 2 interceptions, brock purdy, 19 of 29, 214 yards, no tds, but more importantly, no mistakes. here's coach kyle shanahan talking about the dallas cowboys and what lies ahead for the you work so hard to get to these situations and all we could think about was one that once we did. it's. >> it's fun for a little bit, but it's more once again, the locker room. just all right now, let's move on to the next one because we know moment. we're in our lives right here, a whole team. and we've been here before and it's very hard to get here. so we're not really reflected on we've got a big game this weekend. it's not go either. so. >> in order to that, we've got to make sure we take care of business. >> back let's talk about numbers. that's 12 consecutive wins for the forty-niners. they will be in the nfc championship game 3 out of the 4 years of the past 4 years. they have beaten the dallas cowboys 2 consecutive years. the dallas cowboys have been in 12 consecutive playoffs without reaching the nfc championship game. the forty-niners are not favored to win. the philadelphia eagles favored by 2 and a half. but if you talk to bay area fans, it will be, of course, the forty-niners heading to the super bowl if they beat the eagles and it will be a rematch, no matter who comes out. >> of the afc because it either would be kansas city with patrick mahomes or cincinnati bengals in the forty-niners beat them twice in the 80's. so lots going on. >> the dallas cowboys, they did not want bake haitian but vacation. they are having back to ok? a lot. game. you can catch them tonight at 10. 45? >> still ahead on the kron 4 morning news, a neighborhood is set to get a long-awaited very expensive public bathroom. we'll take a look at it and see why it's so costly day for all. what a nice lead what we're looking at for today. those temperatures go in the upper 50's lots of sunshine today and on to later this week, rain up hit the roads today leaving the house. we are keeping a close eye on your roadways bridges. >> tracking those drive times. we'll be right back. after the break. >> 9.13 right now. got a gorgeous day on tap for monday. makes a little easier to get out of bed. i think i think so, too. yeah. and make you actually want to get outside the state that when it's raining and i just want to hunker down inside. yeah. enjoy this for a nice dry week, dave, we've got that on tap. good james. very good morning, everybody. beautiful sunshine could be seen. also places like half moon bay. the with that offshore wind kept temperatures will elevate it overnight. >> but certainly very inviting with all of that. temperatures look to move too much during the day today. here's the progress. 54 for half moon bay. 52 san francisco inland. we have a little more popping at 50 already. 52 antioch for the east bay shoreline, just grazing the lower 50's now, 47 meanwhile, up to santa rosa. so because of the winds, temperatures have been support a little bit in the double digits in some cases, as you will notice. and that's again, due to the fact keeping the air circulated a little bit when tracker shows that direction still coming from the north and that wind advisory for solano county is still going to hold to about 4 o'clock for today. what's interesting is later on, we're going to see the marine layer come back again from the bay, but not from the usual place such as the ocean. okay. let's go through today. there you have a temperature that humidity levels drop daytime heating little bit. but what happens off? tucker kain a straight here in the delta yet coming in from the central valley. that's all that moist soil. that moisture being brought out to our direction. and then later on the traditional coast brings it on. and as you can see for san francisco peninsula and off towards the east bay, the drought situation, look at this. what was something i said is you see got lot better. there were now in the severe category for a good chunk of the bay to mo%erate as well. so this isn't the steps in the right direction. we're in the wet season now. so remember every dry week we have we can slip behind fairly rapidly back to those winds. again on shore. they are coming from the north, but you can see how they become quite bottled up here to solano county for much of the afternoon and into the evening hours to today will do about 59 san francisco, 60 for oakland, sunny and dry. meanwhile, san jose at about 59, very typical. we'll see as well as inland. we're not seeing as much popping happening even with all the sunshine. we have. this is somewhat typical in the winter months next couple of days. let's keep it going here. upper 50's near about 60. but the thing we should note is overnight lows will still be chilly. might even see some frost to with some 30's still cooking here, mixed with some 40's. of course, we'll have your extended 7 day forecast and also to look at the 4 zone as well. right now checking in the bay area, traffic rain has passed 9. so give us the deal how we still have some delays out there day. the weather is looking great. >> if you're traveling along 5, 18, 80 right now. 21 minutes to make it all the way down to the maze. what you finally do reach here. look at that 8 minutes into the city to that fremont street exit. so traffic has been moving gradually improving across our bridges. 7 minutes, richmond, sandra fell bridge toll still want to one there. so things are looking nice and light south bay, not so much. 38 minutes. 85 in to menlo that's better than about 50 minutes where we were. we checked in during the last hour. but you're still seeing delays like driving sunnyvale or in san jose. well, doubling down to fremont. so that's along 6.80. it's going take you 20 minutes to make that drive. if you are taking 8.80 right now, san down towards to 37 about 32 minutes. darya. james, back to you. >> time to talk winners and losers on wall street financial expert rob black joining us on a monday morning where we're seeing green across the board. rob, we've got the dow up by more than 200 points. the nasdaq also up by more than 200 points. so tech stocks are doing ok, i know earlier we were talking about here in the studio. there announced that we're going to be cutting 6% of the workforce, but their stock is up like 3% on that news. so i guess layoffs are a good thing. kind of you know. >> it kind of stings to be bearer of bad news. the bad news is good news on wall street in the highest cost of doing business is labor. so any time there's job cuts, it seems to be a catalyst for a little bit of a relief in stock down the road. they still have to do our instance top tier avenue. but spotify over spent a lot of tech companies that were spent. but tech companies in january are rocking up 7.2% year to date. we didn't want where we did want 2022 to and we never want change 2023 to and it feels like but also just be let's be honest here at this rally is going to run out of steam at some point there. 61% chance economint or sane of the recession later this year under serious issue. still in china with covid apple saying we want to make 25% or phones in india because of that. china is coming back this year. so there's a lot to like, but we're still dealing with inflation. so it's kind of one of those. it's not quite out of the woods yet, but wall street, constantin speight, the bad news is going to lead to good news. and what is the sentiment on like the fed and interest rate hikes that always seems to be like what wall street watching. is there any thought that they might slow down and they're gonna? >> he thinks that what you think. >> reserve saying now and people like me blame most recessions in the history of the united states on the fed from overdoing their cycles. they have a lot of leeway because the jobs numbers that came out on friday generally in the last 2 years been fantastic as we're hiring a lot of people during the pandemic to get us through. whatever demand is there, the feds probably raise 2 or 3 more times and we're going to see a 20% on a credit card. we'll see 5% on mortgages and we'll get used to it. and then at some point there a break. but i feel like we're to breaking a little bit too early on wall street in their anticipation, the fence on down. >> and then quickly, i see have it hard. didn't really pass 2 billion at the global box office. okay. well, that was a threshold that james cameron's that they'll be profitable. so i guess they are now. >> avatar, 3 coming in 2014 for 2016 par-five in 2018. ridiculous to say he owns 3 of the top grossing films of all time. in fact, disney now owns all 6 of the top grossing. the other ones are obviously in then jurors star wars for weekends and infinity or so big business. congratulations, jamestown, i all right. and then said, let's go back to tech layoffs and kind of put it into perspective forgus because we keep hearing these headlines. >> over and over, more tech lay off more tech layoffs. now, this company now this company is are we seeing more than normal or help us digest what we're hearing? the news. >> consider myself a financial media analyst. we've got 55,000 jobs in january in e% takin, mostly me like amazon and google. microsoft. amazon is cut 18,000 last 2 months. microsoft, 12,000. but give you some perspective where we cut 44,000, the 1st half of 2021. for first of 2022. so this january's eclipsed last 6 for 6 months last year. but that's really not the whole story because amazon hired 800,000 people in 2020 2021. i krissoff higher 27,000 people during that same period time to cutting 10,000 jobs cut in less than half full out about hired 52,000, or not microsoft, you can see kind of how the even apples like the only one not cutting jobs and the hiring freeze and the place. so they over hired in 2020 2021. time you feel bad because these are real people losing jobs. special, seniority, just see what kind of led to the problem. interesting. okay. and then before we wrap things up, i want to go back to movie. sorry, keep. >> the back and forth. but i want to talk about my son is big into horror movies. he and his girlfriend love to go see them in. megan is one of the movies. it's on their list to see. i feel like where is this? is this the new wave of movies against the feel like we're getting more and more horror movies now? >> yeah, there's a whole slate come out later this year, too. megan's got a 95% fresh rating on rotten tomatoes. or move your classic business. you have cheap actors and you have cheap directors who are become breakout actors and breakout the movie industry united states pulled in about 7 and a half billion dollars last year. but 700 million went into things like smile. 279 screamed the new sequel 113, 9. nope. love that film pulled in 171 million in the next 5 months and 6 months are going to get scream 6, we're going to get not get cabin were until what your son will be looking forward to. and if you want hang out with me, that could be chance to get to know each pro mats that saw 10 who knew there was 9. but there's a lot in coming out. so it's a great formula for hollywood and its great time to people back in movie theaters on those mid-level film center at the big blockbuster >> i guess that's the new genre on the rise. all right, rob, thank you as always, very entertaining. we'll chat with you again tomorrow. and if you want rob to talk about movies or tech or whatever, let them know facebook and twitter. you can grab his handles their e-mail directly at robert rob >> it's 9.25. in a san francisco neighborhood is finally got to get their and it's costing a lot. so this put a stop a temporary halt on the project. and now they figured out it's going to be donated. so i guess, you know, the city is not going to have to foot that bill and it could be installed by the fall and they're explaining why it costs so much. it's going to be a million bucks for this donated party. san francisco chronicle says it's because of all of the fees of engineering and the permitting fees. and i actually went into the one that they just opened on the embarcadero. and look, it's just a regular little toilet. a commode is all you get in. there's just very spacious. but after noon and those puddles that you see out there throughout the weekend, number salt water, that's in that 52 going on for antioch. we've got 47 for concord. also santa rosa. 54 for in 52 san jose. little bit more elevated than we were this time from yesterday due to the fact that it didn't get as cold overnight with those although dry winds, they were continue to keep the atmosphere circulating there. by the way, speaking of these winds still for this afternoon for solano county. but everybody else go ahead and just pencil when kind of breezy conditions a little bit. and in the shade will be a little chilly. so just prepare accordingly. but wear shades when tracker. we have the winds kind of offshore. again, they're going to tope a little bit offshore to the east. rather later today actually into tonight. and that's actually going bring some of that marine layer in the little bit, not from a she's from the coast, but actually from the east, the soil ground of the ground from the east. i'll have more on your forecast coming up again. checking that for zone and that extended as well, which is pretty much fairly dry. but now checked the area traffic reyna, tell me it's better well, we've got an accident, 80 westbound east of avenue. >> in berkeley, so drive times are pretty sluggish. traveling along 5, 18, 80 crockett down towards the maze. a richmond center fell bridge
