He joins us now with an update so hard to see those images coming out of florida. Now we know the hurricanes not done yet. In fact. It is really intensified after moving out the open waters now and getting ready to make landfall yet again. The disaster likely to continue maybe not as a category 4, but any hurricane of any strain can be extremely dangerous and well, this one has a history already coming across florida, making its way back out open water is dumped just tons of rain near Daytona Beach this afternoon. Some places dan, 13 inches of rain. You can see its really not well organized. Dont see that typical line. Looking back at you here. But still, its maintaining significant strength. In fact, it is intensify. Were talking about sustained winds of 85 Miles Per Hour right now. And you can see the bands of moisture rotating along the coastline, bringing some heavy rainfall least in the coastal sections of florida. Also into georgia and now south carolina. And that looks like that is going to take the brunt of it right. There is where well see the heavy rainfall moving that direction. Weve been seeing some gusty winds along this path and theyve very blustery, of course, throughout the times, gusting over 50 Miles Per Hour. But the storm again, just now starting to intensify as it intensify. These winds are all going to be picking up. You see the hilton head there. 35 Miles Per Hour. And then the center goes out. So were watching. Gets a little bit closer. I think as we head toward tomorrow, thats what were thinking about watching for storm surge now and along this area, probably for maybe 7 feet where it makes landfall. It intensifies anymore and its already gone above the expected intensity. We may see a larger a storm surge than forecast. But storm warnings are up until 5 oclock in the afternoon on sunday. All right. Heres the very latest track sustained winds of 85 Miles Per Hour. Moving north northeast at 10 miles an hour. You see the corps. It makes its way along the coast. Bad news for the People Living just north of charleston. So here it is. You can see is moving along the track. Your original forecast models had a moving right in to charles. So that is very highly populated area, very dangerous for hurricane to come across there. Still sustained possibly making landfall. 85 miles an hour. Ive seen some things now let me believe that it may intensify just before it makes landfall may be coming on shore just north of charleston and south of myrtle beach. Thats the latest forecast pattern right now worth thatse going hold true. And then its going to start to fall apart. But this is going to be a story not only for these folks tomorrow. I think were going to see all that moisture really kind of wreak havoc up and down the eastern seaboard. Not only for the next few days, maybe until about the middle of next week. Alright lights. Even some 70s inside the bay tonight, the chance to get forecast. Monterey bay, youre looking good. No delays there. Nice clear skies all around and yeah, the weather looking great. And hey, how about the monterey bay . If youre headed that direction . Couple patches of fog in the morning, but plenty of sunshine in the afternoon. A very comfortable 64 degrees. If youre headed to monterey, 77, Carmel Valley and warm and 66 degrees in santa cruz, southern california, joined sunshine and some just some really wonderful temperatures. 73 in san diego. 71 in long beach. 71. And then turn 80 in downtown los angeles. High country looking gorgeous. Its get a little cool at night, though, be prepared. Overnight. Lows likely to drop off into the 30s. But by day youre still talking numbers up in the 70s about 78 degrees in reno. 71 in south lake 73 in truckee next couple days. If youre planning to stick around right through the weekend, all its going to be a nice one. Lots of sunshine all weekend long. It will be breezy at times a little bit of an offshore wind kicking in. But other than that, youre looking good. Hey, its nice and clear out there at the Golden Gate Bridge right now and upcoming patches of fog likely to form again overnight tonight. But its going to kind of a thin lair and maybe a little deaths near the coastline as High Pressure starts to kind of take over compressed that marine air still very comfortable. Temperatures around most of the bay area. 73 and cocker right now, 70 in the more 67 in san mateo 6, 7, also in 56 degrees in pacifica. 59 now in petaluma. But yeah, weve got that big dome of High Pressure building in overhead. Today was a nice day, kind of giving a hint, some things to come. A little bit of a sea breeze kicking in now. But i think as we head toward tomorrow afternoon, a little more of an offshore wind kicking, in fact, High Pressure should continue to build and is that ridge sets itself up. Yeah, i can see more of a northerly component. The winds around the bay area that is going to send those temperatures soaring outside. In fact, numbers tomorrow afternoon, San Francisco looking 60s and 70s by tomorrow afternoon. Beautiful about 73 downtown. 74 in the mission. 64 degrees in Half Moon Bay inside the bay. Those numbers warm up in a hurry. Lots of 80s. You make your way down the middle. A peninsula and then 80s pushing 90 degrees in the south bay. Think the east bay, you see a couple 90s by tomorrow afternoon. Little hot spots. Well inland, but its that time of year we get the nice heat up during the day and then those temperatures really cool down an itv, some relief from that heat. So numbers are going to be very comfortable outside coast side, even about a 66 degree Stinson Beach in the next couple days. Well see those temperatures drop off just a little bit for your weekend, but not by much. And so the beginning of october looks like its going to start out on the dry side.
