Phillipe thieves have been targeting people parked in their cars. if you are sitting in your car that late at night, just keep the doors locked. Phillipe on at least four occasions now, between 1030 at night and 1230 in the early morning. Several victims have been held up at gunpoint. its just kind of shocking to hear that. Phillipe last week, late monday, wednesday and thursday nights. Armed robberies were reported at diablo west park, williamson ranch park, Country Manor park and dallas ranch park. In each case, the Antioch Police confirm two suspects, parked behind their victims, who were sitting in parked cars near the parks. The suspects approached both the passenger and driverside windows, and pointed a gun inside. Purses, cellphones and cash were stolen. In one instance, the suspects grabbed the victims car keys and threw them somewhere in the park. White and silver colored sedans were used to commit some of the crimes. i pray no one gets shot. Just let your money go, whatever you have its not worth it. Phillipe so far no injuries have been reported. keep the doors locked, um, you know be alert, check your surroundings, um, i always like to check my surroundings before getting out of the car. The chp is investigating a series of hit and run accidents. And they all happened near the Pittsburg Bart station tonight. Kron fours jeff bush shows you the scene. And explains what happened. Chp says the driver of this silver sedan was involved with several hit and run accidents on bailey road and the on ramp as well as the off ramp of highway four. The accidents appear to have happened in succession around eight p m. The driver took off and eventually ended up in the back of the bart parking lot. Chp officers say there was a passenger in the car with the driver and they both ran away from the scene. Officers used trained dogs to try to find the two suspects but police were unable to find thembut, during the course of investigation, police recovered several clues from the carincluding what appears to be a cell phone. There were innitial reports of a man with a gun but police say there is no evidence of that. Police say the car is registered to a property in antioch and may be stolen. Several holes could be seen in the side of the car. I asked sergant David Bartlett about them. Sgt. David bartlett i noticed what appears to be a bullet hole in the back panel. Does that have anything to do with this . there are several bullet holes in this car and they all appear to be old with rust and such. that is kinda weird. it is a little unusual, yes. Pam an east bay family is demanding changes tonight. After their young son died following a routine dental procedure. The six year old died after he was given general anesthesia to remove a tooth. Kron 4s jr stone has reaction from the boys father. J. R. 6 year old caleb sears died last year, just days after a trip to the Dentists Office. His father tim says caleb was given general anesthesia so his tooth could be removed. we had a really blessed life with two amazing kids and overnight it changed and we have to get used to this new life we have and make the best of it. Its hardits hard. In california j. R. oral surgeons are trained to perform dental procedures and administer general anesthesia. Tim believes that had a separate person been administering and monitoring calebs anesthesia,the outcome would have been much different. theres no doubt in my mind that had their been a separate person whose job was just to do the anesthesia and monitor caleb hed still be alive. The exact cause of death is pending. The marin County DistrictAttorneys Office will not seek the Death Penalty for three people accused of two murders last fall. Sean angold, lila alligood, and morrison lampley. Are believed to have killed canadian backpacker audrey carey in San Francisco, and steve carter in marin county last fall. The trio was arrested in portland, oregon a few days after the killings. The District Attorneys Office says, officials consulted with the families of the victims and law enforcement. Before making the decision not to pursue the Death Penalty. But victims rights advocate marc klaas says, because of the evidence in this case and the cruelty of the crimes, the suspects should face the ultimate penalty. If convicted, all three suspects could be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. They are scheduled to appear in court on may 9th. Two men on their bicycles allegedly saw turner on top of the motionless woman. On the ground near a dumpster. Turner reportedly ran away, but the men caught up to him, and pinned him down.
