barricaded two entrances of the wells fargo headquarters. a group of roughly 200 people blocked doorways for more than five hours. 11 people were arrested for trespassing in fact as they try to enter the building there were cited and released. the demonstrators outside wells fargo said they hold the financial institutions accountable for the economic downturn in the nation. maureen kelly shows a how many of the people in today's demonstration not personally affected by foreclosure. >> i am here because unlike thousands and thousands of other homeowners across the country i am facing foreclosure at the hands of the banks, while they accepted billions of dollars in bailout money wells fargo has made $26.4 billion since the bailout. i am here to object to that because while they are collecting all this money from us, the tax payers they're putting us at our homes. >> more than 60 percent of one's income goes to the mortgage and i cannot do that anymore. i feel like i'm living back in the 1800's like it is slavery. >> my parents lost their home, it was foreclosed on, they had to lift my uncle's home, then his house was foreclosed on, and then today my grandmother is facing foreclosure. all the banks got build al we got kicked out it is time for them to appease the 99%. with the vast majority in this country who see our homes and families ripped apart by the corporate greed of the 1%. if this one percent can be accountable, which is finally have our homes back, we can finally have good jobs and safe communities. but the corporate greed of that 1 percent is hurting taxed at about 30 percent and when i heard about how the rich get taxed for less than 30 percent i thought was unfair. >> i am tired of dealing out what the banks not to keep your own people i am want people to know that it is not just the tea party out there protesting what is going on in the united states, but people with other views and they are part of it reporting live in walnut creek and gathered at the wells fargo bank right here along california and montgomery. i will launch a video of the scene. you can see the protesters are all out front of wells fargo and their allies, their allies with the occupied protesters before the most part it is not the same group they are allies the not the same group, about 200 people and you can see them all. there were in front of the engines and some people try to into the bank. those people were cited for trespassing. 11 people total they were released after being cited. the demonstrators their protest the economic inequality in america, many of them said that they're hoping to foreclose the banks and maureen kelly talk with people there who were representing all kinds of causes. >> i think enough is enough the banks need to understand the thick at the stocktaking our homes. all these banks got bailed out and we got kicked out. >> i am furious that the banks get bail out and the schools do not and i am told that as a teacher i have to fund raising grant right to teach my kids how to read. >> my messages we want power back. >> we just don't want jobs we want good jobs and we want jobs that will give us a decent wage. and right now the banks not helping, those jobs are very scarce. >> the system is not working for families are working people. it is not working for anyone but the 1% in we are here at wells
