>> good question. i think they have to run against one another at this time and differentiate themselves. that's why they have been negatively attacking those at the front of the polls in the republican nomination but the other way that the republican party really should be using a place like iowa, allen, is not just to run against barack obama but to begin to test market if you like with voters what it is that the republican party stands for in 2012. what is their message? if their only message is going to be beat obama, then that's likely to be running against somebody instead of being for something. and an incumbent president will always beat that. if i were them, i would be trying to articulate a message that resonates with voters that they're for something in this message of the i think that's hopefully -- >> not just i'm the one who can beat obama. you have to do that. >> you have to do more than that. what i'm saying is one of the benefits of this caucus is they talk to each other is you can test market this. you can see what people are think. the democrats by the way are pushing middle class. they are going to be talking about a message that resonate with the middle class. that's where they are going to use this 99%, 1% messages out of the "occupy" movement. what are the republicans going to say to answer that?
