The couple of lanes in south san jose were blocked for several hours but as you mentioned everything is back open this morning. We have some video of what is left of the wreck. The chp says a subaru Station Wagon northbound on 101 before blossom hill road at 2 a. M. This morning, for whatever reason the driver veered off the road and hit a tree. There were no signs of skidmarks. No evidence that the driver tried to brake. The force of the impact nearly split the Station Wagon in half. It burst into flames. Then the trees caught fire. Good samaritans called nine one tried to stop and help called 911 tried to stop and help. Emergency crews couldnt get to the driver because of heat and flames kept them back. The driver was from washington state. They couldnt tell if the driver was male or female because it was burned beyond recognition. All lanes are open on south 101. Kiet do, kpix 5. Reporter several lanes at 101 were closed for hours this morning but the chp made sure to open up the freeway well before the morning commute started at 5 a. M. The clerk got away was not injured. The suspects never got any money and just drove off and now police hope someone gets a good look at their faces and turns them in. They say the two men are armed, dangerous and could strike again. A group of Police Officers is in hot water after a pot raid in southern california. The footage from last month shows santa ana Police Officers storming into a pot shop. They are seen trying to disable security cameras and eating what appears to be edible marijuana. A wheelchairbound amputee in the shop at the time says one of the officers mocked her. She doesnt know what its like to not have a leg. I mean, i still have phantom pains. Police are now investigating the raid. They are also looking into whether the dispensary was operating without a license. A cleveland area prosecutor will give a grand jury the case of a white Police Officer killing a black boy. Earlier, a judge said one of the officers should be charged with murder. Last year 12yearold tamir rice was shot and killed, carrying a pellet gun. The judge said the second officer should be charged with reckless homicide. The grand jury will decide whether charges will be filed. A new study will likely have many parents pushing their kids to drink more water.
