Firefighters spent the night keeping an eye on any hot spots from a massive fire in oakland. We first told but the fire yesterday morning. It started at an empty apartment complex near lake merritt. Oakland fire says there were two people inside when the fire started. They were there as security for the building. Reporter investigators say it will take time to determine what caused the fire. Oakland fire says they will officially start the investigation once the buildings property manager gives the okay. After nearly two years on the run two men are now behind bars. They were wanted for a brutal attack on a disabled homeless man in San Francisco. Surveillance video showing a group kicking the 67yearold as he was sleeping on a sidewalk back in 2014. He died. Police used dna evidence to track down the two suspects. They are each being held on 5 million bond. Investigators believe that a third attacker is still on the run.
