[ screaming ] reporter trouble like this happens almost every day. [ screaming ] students say deer valley plaza is where you go to fight. If you are not in school, you go to the plaza and then fight. And then get away with it. People bring weapons in, a lot of things goes on. Reporter its so bad some businesses including taco bell shut down after school to try to keep the kids away. But that doesnt stop them. Police were called out to break up another fight. I think its pretty sad. Reporter people who work here say its only getting worse. They come and hide in here and they are planning other fights. Reporter this employee was too scared to go on camera especially after this happened. One time a girl knocked over all our stuff. All the stuff on the front counter, she just knocked everything off and she threatened one of my coworkers and told her that she was going to kill her. Reporter her coworker quit after that. [ screaming ] reporter if closing down the plaza isnt working, how do you fix this . It starts with the parents. You know . Where are your kids . Why arent they going home . Is there anybody there . I think the school should do something about it because its getting bad. Its getting worse. Major wildfires burning in Northern California now forced the governor to declare a state of emergency. The fire that tore through the town of weed near mount shasta this week is 65 contained. Crews are gearing up to battle 40mileperhour winds again today and on tuesday, that fire destroyed more than 100 homes. The king fire burning in El Dorado County is only 5 contained this morning after burning nearly 28,000 acres, about 44 square miles. Right now 2,000 homes and another 1500 smaller structures are all in danger. All that smoke from the fire is creating some serious air quality concerns in the sierra. El dorado county now under an air quality advisory, and the smoke could can sell the iron man try at could cancel the iron man triathlon this sunday in tahoe. They will make the decision on the day of the competition. The remnants of onetime hurricane odile are causing problems in southern arizona. The weakened storm has spared tucson but is hitting areas to the east and south like nogales. A major street there was flooded with several inches of water. The suspects arrested friday although it was not announced until yesterday. Police are still not releasing the mens names either. Investigators believe they are connected to some of the recent evergreen burglaries but not all of them. Meanwhile, the San FranciscoPolice Department is increasing patrols in the area. Investigators hope fingerprints and other evidence will lead them to more suspects. Law enforcement from across the country are gathering in pennsylvania to honor a slain officer. Livermore commute westbound 580 still looks good. They picked up the overnight roadwork a little bit ahead of schedule through there. So now all clear to the dublin interchange. And even coming out of the Altamont Pass not seeing any major slowdowns yet as far as yellow sensors so only about 14 minutes right now out of the Altamont Pass and tracy. As you can see its just beginning to slow noun coming off the 205. Heres a live look at the golden gate bridge. So far, so good coming out of marin county, as well. They should be reopening lanes in the commute direction southbound or if you want to avoid the roads altogether, sometimes first rain makes things extra slick so mass transit might be a good option and so far everything is on time including bart systemwide with more than 25 trains.
