network that most east bay cities are already using. council members finally got to hear more about that system that would cost about 1 and a half million dollars to join. >> if you look at some of the history of your system and some of the shortcomings, it's really been around the reliable, monitoring and maintenance. that is one of the things we take very serious. >> it says something when all the cities in the jurisdiction are there. >> committee members said no to another million dollar request from the city to upgrade two transmission towers. that's after hearing that those upgrades may not be necessary if the city simply joins the regional system. in the next 14 hours, we should know the u.s. supreme court's ruling on proposition 8. the justices closed their session today without case a priority. she is 5' 6", 120 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue jacket, jeans and black shoes. >> the family relayed information that this missing juvenile had ran away from a medical building on this location. the family also relayed information that this juvenile is believed to have harmed herself in the past. >> she was last seen in the panhandle area of golden gate park. her family says she doesn't know the area. checking bay area headlines tonight. three people shot in a home invasion in san francisco's bayview district early this morning. officers say two suspects opened fire on a family of four. a man and woman were taken to the hospital it's believed that one of the suspects was also shot, possibly by his own weapon in the scuffle. two children in the home were not hurt. both suspects, though, are still on the loose. a fatal accident snarled the morning commute on 880. a woman died after crashing into a truck. lanes just south of stevenson boulevard were closed for about two hours. firefighters had to open up the roof of this house to fight a fire. flames traveled 77 in the attic. nobody was injured. the cause is still under investigation. >> my
