Yesterday. He was walking across the transportation yard when he was hit. Despite several surgeries for head injuries, foley ended up dying today at the hospital. The Alameda County Sheriffs Office says foley was a registered organ donor and his family agreed to his wishes. Controversy around a off duty officer who fired his gun near a teen. Referee police say the issue began because of ongoing problems with teenagers in the area. The teen was arrested for threatening to shoot the police officer. The boy named christian was also booked for assault and battery along with a 15year old. At one point on the video, more teenagers join in. And the officer is thrown over a hedge and punched. The officers lawyer says he was bleeding and was nearly knocked unconscious. This is one video that anaheim detectives are using in the investigation. A separate l. A. P. D. Internal investigation is under way. The officer has been put on leave.
