The car windshield smashed pretty hard as well, similes are still stuck stuck in the wipers. The fallen tree was taken up by its roots d roots and it was blocking a couple traffic lanes there on Market Street. The department of of public works had to come in with that chainsaw. We will always prioritize a tree that is in the public right right of way, a path of travel or in a traffic lane. The driver was pretty shaken up, as you can imagine. People in a san jose townhouse got quite the wakeup call, a rude one at that. A car crashed right into their building good police say this happened before 2 00 a. M. Near the center road, and sylvan dale dale avenue. You can see the mess it left. The driver apparently took off after the crash. Nobody inside was hurt, but nine people are now out of their houses. But then when i came out, and i saw the cabinets, in my kitchen, broken loose. Police later cuffed that driver on dui. Dui charges. A driver was shot on 580 has now died. Police found a victim inside a van that crashed at 51st avenue and international boulevard. They quickly put up that police tape and started investigating. The shooting happened around 11 30, last night. It has been a violent stretch in oakland, this is the fifth deadly shooting in oakland, this week.
