And a neighbor tells us there are five kids altogether. Four of which live in the home with their mother. He said he was told it was an older sibling who killed the toddler possibly by stabbing and also claims that another child was injured but okay. Of course that information not being confirmed by deputies at this point. Heres what else this neighbor told us. They would not tell me who did the stabbing. Or whatever happened in the house. It was something that i didnt want to know. Reporter of course we are working to confirm those details and again whether or not deputies have anybody in custody for this. A brutal double murder in north phoenix. 37yearold Brandon Sutherland was arrested for killing two people in a mobile home saturday. Police say both victims were were told the two had severe cuts and a knife was found at the scene. Now were working to get the names of the victims but detectives do tell us the suspect is related to one of them. Theyre also investigating a motive. Sutherland now facing murder charges. And police are still looking for these two men described as persons of interest in another murder case. Last saturday, ernie sew la know was shot and killed at a Convenience Store near 42nd avenue and camelback. Police be happened. We have pictures of two people who were in the area, were not calling them suspects, just saying that maybe they saw something, maybe they have information, but it would be help. Terrifying moment for a Phoenix Family as they escape their burning home early this morning. As cbs 5s jill gallis explains the working smoke alarms likely to the garage area. You can see its now black. Right above the garage, and this area has since been boarded up. But now, outside theres a huge pile of charred debris which will now help them determine exactly what started this. A man his wife and 4yearold daughter were awake early this morning when firefighters say smoke alarms went off inside their two story home. With fire raging inside the garage, and smoke quickly rising inside the fast. To give you an idea of just how close the homes are spaced to one another. If you take a look up here to the second story window you can see clearly the freeborning up there and then the neighboring home is only a few feet away but completely untouched. Phoenix firefighters say despite the garage they saved about 990 of this house from fire. The familys dog, cat and pet snake also all survived. Well, right now still just a tr lot of moisture wrapped and around it but its not highly organized at this point but heres the track that its going to take. Right now its got winds at about 50 miles an hour moving towards the westnorthwest as we they had through the next couple of head through the next couple of days. By too tim we head the time we head into thursday, this is the time we get more moisture heading our way. The impacts for us is that weve got this dryer air moving out and the moisture that were seeing towards the east and over northern mexico combined with the moisture from the Tropical Storm all gets pushed right into arizona. We can see anywhere from about one inch to two inches of rain and a matter of days here in the valley. Other parts of the state could get anywhere from three to five inches of rain. So we start off again nice and dry. But our chances for showers as we head through the week are looking pretty good. Wednesday and thursday for us here in the valley the best c tuesday night though and our overnight hours we could see the rain moving in.
