An off duty officer reportedly noticed the suspects vehicle going 100miles per hour on i 580, heading up to reno. Police say they began persuing the vehicle after the suspects car hit another car near meadowood mall. They eventually ended up at the grand sierra resort where they ditched the car and ran. Officials say the driver was arrested but the other man got away.
