The hill side is unstable and at any moment more mud and sliding trees could pour into those homes. Mud is coming through there, through the bathroom into the bedroom and into hall way. All work to clean up the fallen hillside and to repair the homes has to stop until city officials give the go ahead. Homeowners say their newest worry this morning is shoring up a crumbling road above their properties so that it doesnt slide down and bring more mud. Police say the fight broke out in the parking lot of the Fourth Street bowl in downtown san jose. Officers say when they arrived on the scene a juvenile male was found shot and stabbed multiple times. He was taken to a local hospital where hes expected to survive. Who knows if the surfers were swimming right underneath them the last few days. Reporter some risked it all to try to help it back into the ocean, then a rescue effort was launched by researchers. We were able to get the shark uprighted in the water. It kind of turned around. It was aimless. Reporter the rough conditions made it difficult to swim out. Researchers think an illness or injury caused the shark to come toward shore in first place. Shes sharks swallow hooks sometimes. Police do catch and release, cut the line. Reporter he said it was lost in the waves and likely didnt make it. The scene turning from shocking to sadness. To see that it was so bloody and trying to survive, but i guess it was good that it happened today instead of any other day when there were not that many people in the water. Right now it might all seem very calm, overcast skies but were expecting to see a chance for showers pushing through especially in the north bay and San Francisco along the peninsula as well. Another thing youll notice is that we are waking up to chillier temps than what weve seen especially for spring. 39 degrees for santa rosa, San Francisco 49 and even in san jose also in the 40s. Santa cruz mountains at 43 degrees. Heres the band of showers im talking about. The majority is still sitting off shore but over the next 1 1 2 to 2 hours that is expect to push in and thats going to bring with it a line of quick moving moderate to heavy downpours and its going to move mainly from the north to the south and thats also going to bring a possibility of seeing isolated thunderstorms. You can actually see that right now on the Doppler Radar sitting just off shore. Now your highs for today, we are expecting to stay fairly cool in the 50s. The temperature trend is showing that rain as i mentioned coming in at about 9 00, 10 00 a. M. Thankfully it looks like about 1 00 or 2 00 that rain should taper off nicely. Those showers will be fast moving which is great because i know a lot of people probably have plans later on tonight, and there it is. So brisa is full grown. She looks like maybe a terrier mix. Yeah, some kind of terrier, and shes about noon. And brisa means breeze, right, in spanish . And ellie, what are you expecting in terms of size and what kind of homes would these dogs be best suited for. Ellie is very shy. About eight months old. Shell grow a little bit. These 25 to 30 pounds right now. She needs room to run and a family that will devote some time and attention. Shes real shy overall. She doesnt walk that well on a leash. So shell need some extra tlc. And they were just on the street. So we dont know their background in terms if they were abused in any way or got the attention and love they needed. Yeah. It doesnt seem like either of them have theyre loving, theyre affectionate now but they are really shy. If they were in a home, then it possibly wasnt a good situation.
