Fire Officials Say it could be, but today, hot day out there. It is, you know, cal fire tells me because we have seen several years of drought like conditions, followed by this wet winter. It makes for a very dangerous mix. All of that rain brought in all of the vegetation. And now, the warm weather is drying it all out. That means fires can spark very easily. Reporter it didnt take much more the brushfire to get going. The fire started in the hills. Up there. There were quite a few planes, helicopters. Fire protection and cal fire battled the fastmoving brushfire near multimillion dollar homes. The 25acre blaze forced residents to be evacuated. Yes, very scary. Scary for a frichend of mines parents. With triple digit temperatures out in Northern California, cal fire is battling about a half dozen wildfires like this one in El Dorado County where crews there try to contain a 45acre wildfire south of placerville. This fire spread rapidly. Flames will be especially fastmoving this fire season, cal fire says. Because five years of droughtlike conditions combined with a recent wet winter, will make for a dangerous mix. The grass across the bay area and really across Northern California has already dried out. There is little to no moisture. Once it is ignited it is able to burn rapidly. This may technically be beginning of fire season. The dry grass, hot temperatures. Back here live, Fire Fighters were able to get that fire in danville under control. They hope to contain one. The violence led off to many arrests also injured Police Officer and a lot of criticism for the city. The San Jose Police department is forming a task force asking the public for help in gathering videos on those attacks. But as you will see from that exclusive video, of that egg throwing incident, not always easy to get a clear picture of what happened. 250 san jose cops with help from agencies were stretched thin trying to keep the peace. The donald trump rally generated nonviolent protest thousands, that changed after the rally when four were arrested three for nell knee assault including one that injured a Police Officer. One incident got National Attention when a trump supporter got hit with an egg. The violence was denounced by Community Leaders and the local democratic party. We call upon both the Sanders Campaign and the Clinton Campaign to continue to speak out. But a trump protester showed us video she shot prior to the egg throwing incident as the victim headed to her hotel where the person with her is seen flipping off the protesters. Thats when i saw the big crowd kind of surround her. And throw the egg at her. But even when the crowd surrounded her, she was still yelling, laughing, taunting them. Reporter police chief eddie garcia announced a task force to track down those responsible for violence and defending officers were in strategic lines not getting involved in altercations unless absolutely necessary. Raj, the documents here are one guards account of what happened to him here outside of the main jail as he was leaving work. And it is renewing the call for those guards to carry guns. San jose police are looking for the man in this sketch. A jail guard says back in april, the man followed him from this parking lot across the main jail. When they came to a light. The guard got out and raised his shirt exposing a gun. In this report. The suspect then was driving behind him. Pointing the gun at him from his car. When you swear in Law Enforcement you have to be aware of what is going on around you 24 hours a day. If you dont have the tools to protect yourself. Some times it can be dangerous. San Francisco Police are now telling us that they tried for hours to negotiate with the man. But he made threats to harm officers who might take him into custody. At one point he just came out of the window and then went into a skylight and thats where the officers then got into a fight with the person. While the suspect was in the hair salon he did start fighting with the people inside there. They say the man was covered in glass, trying to slash, bite and spit at officers. Six were hurt. Police say at one point they tried to run. They fired a less lethal bean bag round. At this time, the treatment the suspect injuries are nonlife threatening as well as the officers. The standoff began five hours earlier when a neighbor on pacific street called about a man breaking in. Police helped the victim out, but say the suspect barricaded himself in another room and officers heard one gunshot. Neighbor bill joe came home to find police tape blocking off his street. A bill aimed at making tour buses safer is one step closer to becoming law. An assemblyman drafted the bill after the tour bus crash at union square. And it revealed a bus was not registered by the Utility Commission and therefore was not inspected by chp. Assemblymans bill would let communities contract with the chp to do safety checks on buss in their area. Former 49ers and raiders star, Dana Stubblefield was in court to answer to a rape charge. Did not enter a plea. Accused of raping a woman described as mentally delayed. She claims this happened in stubblefields morgan hill home after she interviewed for a babysitting job. Stubblefield maintains the sex was consensual. And his lawyers deny that the woman has a disability that prevented her from consenting. Well you must play. That is what a federal judge told the u. S. Womens soccer Team World Champion team wanted to strike to get better wages and improved conditions before the summer olympics.
