How is the traffic going to be . As youd expect with any sporting event, its a little bit heavy there near the stadium. Marianne favro is live outside the stadium. Marianne, what are hearing from fans . So far, so good . Reporter so far, so good. They give this whole process an a. There is a lot of traffic as we get closer to game time at 7 30. But fans say so far getting here has been smooth sailing. Some streets will be closed and there are be lots of blinking signs showing you where to go. Many say they relied on the 49ers website to get Accurate Information on how to get to the stadium. One couple was surprised how easy it was to park. And they were also surprised how expensive it was. It was easy to find parking and the park cost 30, which is a little bit high. Reporter he actually got a deal. Most of the parking is 35 to 45 here. One way to save on that cost is to take light rail. And so far, those passengers say while the trains are certainly very crowded tonight, it was a simple process. Of course, the people that we talked to who said they had smooth sailing got here more than 2 1 2 hours before the start of the game. And they say that was the best advice of all. But despite the crowded trains and the expensive parking, the excitement here is palpable. This is a big night for sports fans. Reporting live in santa clara, marianne favro, nbc bay area news. About 50,000 fans expected. 45 minutes ago, the gates opened. Thousands of fans will be getting into those brandnew seats, first time to ever sit in them. Thats pretty cool. This will be wonderful for those fans. Well be right back. A Good Samaritan is being credited with helping save six people after their canoe capsized near the golden gate bridge. Coast guard officials said they spotted the canoe this afternoon. The Good Samaritan saved two people. Crew members from the coast guard people saved the other four. No injuries reported. 20 people are temporarily homeless tonight in San Francisco after a fire damaged two buildings. It broke out a little after 2 00 p. M. In the citys bayview district. Crews had the fire contained within about 40 minutes. But it caused a lot of damage to the back of one of those buildings. When fire crews got there, people were still trying to get out. The front of these are commercials on the first floor. On top of them are residences. Crews were immediately sent in to evacuate the building. There were many occupants in there. The other building had a lot of damage. Mostly from water and smoke. Still no word on what started the fire. But it is not considered to be suspicious. A palo alto neighborhood is on alert tonight after a man exposed himself in a popular park. Happened about 5 00 yesterday at seale park as children played nearby. Nbc bay areas Christie Smith live at the park now with reaction from parents. Reporter good evening to you, trae. The families we spoke with are disturbed and surprised saying this is basically a Neighborhood Park used by folks who live around here. Police are saying a man exposed himself to two women who were here with their children. A neighbors surveillance camera did catch an image of whats believed to be the suspect that walked away after the incident happened around friday at seale park here on stockton place. Two women with their kids were in the playground area. One of them noticed a man walked into the park exposing himself. One woman warned the other one. He apparently walked through the playground without saying anything or trying to make contact. The good news here is that the kids apparently didnt notice him at all. The man then hopped a short fence and left the park. One longtime neighbor says its usually pretty quiet. Obviously somebody whos behaving like that, not really socially acceptable. But, i dont know, its surprising because its just a little Neighborhood Park. But people with strange behaviors can be anywhere pretty much. Reporter police did arrive friday after they got the call. But the man had already left. A vague description, believed to be a black male, adult, 45 years old, six feet tall, 170 pounds wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and white pants. In oakland, one man is dead, two others injured after three separate shootings in less than 24 hours. One of the victims is a 13yearold girl. The teen was buying candy at a store last night when she was hit by a stray bullet. She was shot in the shoulder. Early this morning, a 22yearold man was shot and killed on international boulevard. The third shooting was a driveby last night. Police have yet to release suspect information in any of the shootings. Concerns about Violent Crime are mounting in san jose tonight after the third homicide in less than a week. The latest killing happened early this morning in front of a 7eleven on edenview drive. A man was shot and killed after getting in an argument with someone in the car. The councilman who represents the district says there arent enough Police Officers working on gang suppression and prevention. By not having those resources, were starting to see throughout the city Violent Crime and also other types of crime. Enoughs enough. Police cant indicated if this shooting is gang related. But that the area has seen a surge in gang activity. A Central Valley Fruit Company is issuing another recall. It recalls peaches, nectarines and plums a few weeks ago. Tonight theyre recalling more of its yellow peaches and nectarines. It was sold between july 20th and the 31th. It could be contaminated with listeria. It only includes yellow peaches and nectarines. In San Francisco, you have the fog machine. 65 degrees, low clouds and misty skies over downtown right now. San jose, 72 degrees. And you can see 70 up around santa rosa. If we compare this to 24 hours ago, this is a huge swing in temperatures especially for the valleys around livermore. About 12 degrees cooler than this time yesterday. Cooling all around the bay area. The marine air is starting to thicken up and being punched inland by that stronger sea breeze. This is the way tomorrow will set up. Areas of low clouds. Mist and drizzle. By lunchtime, partly cloudy skies inland. Still the low clouds on the coast. Then we have to watch out for some monsoon moisture spilling up out of Southern California causing bigtime problems if youre traveling south over the grapevine into los angeles or san diego. Off our coast, we have the low clouds there. Thats what youre seeing moving into San Francisco. But notice the bands of high clouds passing fresno and bakersfield. Take a look at whats happening over Southern California. Counterclockwise rotation, thats an easterly wave that usually comes out of western mexico. But in this case, its rotating around that ridge of High Pressure and moving into san diego and los angeles. The green areas you see here, flash flood watches, including l. A. County down into san diego. This is where most of the moisture is going to be for the end of the weekend. Some of that upper level moisture could try to drift over the bay area late tomorrow though most of the action i think is going to be over the sierras. So the chances of seeing monsoon moisture to wrap up the weekend, most of it looks confined to the sierra in terms of the possibility of generating some thunderstorms. High clouds come into the day tomorrow. Due to the lightning, we have a fire weather watch to wrap up the weekend there. Bay area, tomorrow, well continue to see cooling changes but not the type of changes that will bring us any of the rain like were seeing in Southern California. A supercharged sea breeze should carry over from sunday into monday. There will be a cooling trend that should take us into the beginning of next week. For tomorrow, 83 degrees in san jose. Upper 60s, closer to San Francisco. The fiveday trend keeps things mild for the Santa Clara Valley and San Francisco to start the week. Slight rebound in temperatures as we get towards tomorrow.
