No word yet on the cause of this fire. Okay. Our meteorologist, rob mayeda is with us as we head toward the weekend. Well, sunday is getting a little more interesting. But before we get to the weekend, weve got temperatures in a few spots tomorrow that could make a run at the upper 80s here in october. Lets show what weve got going on outside right now. Partly cloudy skies, mid 60s around San Francisco, mid 70s across the south bay over towards the north bay. And there is the view in San Francisco. Where youve got some high clouds moving on in, wind out of the west at 14 miles per hour. And to the east bay, your emeryville point of view, showing you 70 degrees, wind also out of the west at 10 and a few high clouds this evening into san jose. Hazy skies, 76 degrees and really areas south of downtown san jose tomorrow around saratoga, campbell, near morgan hill, we could see a few spots trying to reach the mid to upper 80s. So the hour by hour forecast temperature trend for san jose, at least around downtown where the average high is 74 degrees, by 3 00 tomorrow afternoon, should be approaching 80 in downtown san jose. So mostly clear skies. Just seeing high clouds. That is the outer fringe of a very active pattern bringing a lot of wind and rain to the pacific northwest. So High Pressure holding its ground and one of the things we see is High Pressure strength inland, the north winds. That should keep our skies mostly clear through the day tomorrow, and its only late in the day tomorrow we begin to see some changes out here on the coast, as you can see. Mostly sunny skies, and by 5 00 and 6 00, here come the low clouds again. That will lead to cooling as we head into friday. So in the meantime, tomorrow, the warmest day of the week, areas south of san jose we think approaching the mid 80s. Peninsula temperatures too, upper 70s to near 80 degrees. North bay and tri valley tomorrow, numbers in the low to mid 80s for highs. Oakland, 78 degrees. So here is the changeup as we head into the weekend. First increasing clouds on saturday. Sunday now looks like the north bay by the evening could see some rain. Then plan on some rain at times monday into tuesday. Then notice wednesday. Stay tuned. That next storm we thought would come ashore may end up staying offshore, so the impact here looks like the rain totals over the next two days will be heaviest in the north bay and most of that coming in from monday morning into tuesday. So the sevenday forecast as things plan out tomorrow, the warmest day of the next seven. And then plan on increasing clouds late in the weekend and valley temperatures warm through friday and then rain making a comeback into the north bay by sunday evening. A little bit of everything.
