Justice reporter the protests were heavy in the wake of the death of michael tyree, an inmate at santa clara countys main jail, allegedly beaten to death by three Correctional Officers. Thank you for taking the time to be here to attend this first meeting of the blue Ribbon Commission. Reporter the plu Ribbon Commission was created after the death of tyree. The group that includes former judges and members of the board of supervisors will dedicate their saturdays to discuss with the public any issues they may have with the current jail skpm to make recommendations where they see fit. Its sad that as a member of the public, we got to set up this whole commission to take out members of the public. The murder did not just happen. But retired judge cordell who was appointed to lead this commission has concerns with its purpose moving forward. She just learned the county hired an independent consultant and says conditions inside of the prisons as well. Their findings will be confidential, something she thinks can affect the future of this commission. I dont think things can be done, but i dont know. Retired judge cornell says she will sit down if she doesnt get more information on this consultant. The next meeting is scheduled for november 21st. Reporti reporting pete surata. We will see some sunshine, but then tomorrow night, another chance of heavy rain pushes in. So right now, things are clear. Tomorrow morning, though, those showers push in. Some sun by the afternoon, and tomorrow night, another chance of some very heavy rain, and some of that could produce some local downpours and even the threat for some small hail. Its still about 200 miles off the coast, but its making its advance very slowly. By tomorrow morning, well wake up to showers. A beautiful sunset right now, with temperatures back into the 60s, across most of the bay. A few high thin clouds, but overall it has been fairly nice here across the bay area today. Tomorrow, temperatures coming down a little bit, so it will be even more chilly. Well have more cloud cover and have that shot of morning rain that will push through. In fact, we are expecting to see some sunshine. Some good news for folks that are headed down towards levi stadium. 1 05 is when the kickoff starts. Were expecting to see showers by then. But by 1 00 and 2 00, clouds will start to part. A little bit of sunshine at levi stadium. Over towards san jose as well, and even over towards 5 00, well stay dry. By 7 00, 8 00 tomorrow evening, another dose of very heavy rain pushes back into the bay area. Tomorrow morning, well wake up to showers across the entire bay area, and by the afternoon, well see a few peaks of sunshine. But it will be chilly. San francisco, up to 61. 62 for the embarcadero. Palo alto, youll be at 65. 63 for saratoga. And i believe theyll be able to get that parade in in San Francisco, dry, because the showers are going to pull through before noon in San Francisco. And again, the morning rain will push through, and by the afternoon, well see a front. Here is the timing on all of this. By 4 00 tomorrow morning, the first showers start to push into the bay area, the north bay, the coastline, including San Francisco. By 8 00 tomorrow morning, showers, bay area wide. By the afternoon, things will start to clear out. Look at this, 1 00, dry. Most of us dry. As we get into the afternoon tomorrow, we see some sunshine. By 7 00 in the evening tomorrow, heres that heavier rain i was telling you about. By monday morning, that starts to develop and that will be with you for your morning commute. Pretty heavy rain like we saw this past monday. We are talking about a decent amount of heavy rain. Were not talking about light stuff, like we saw just sunday, last beak, but by monday, things will start to add up. Were talking about maybe half of an inch. Lighter amounts for the north bay, because the heavier bands develop from San Francisco south from monday morning. And that will push over towards the trivalley as well. Keep in mind, monday will be a wet commute. The other great news, sunday, tomorrow through the day, we are expecting snow to pile up. Its not going to be much, though. Were expecting 2 to 4 inches for some of the ski resorts, maybe 6 to 8 above 7,000 feet. So great news, all in all. Rain does return to the bay area tomorrow. Thunderstorms expected tomorrow as that heavy dose of rain pushes through for your morning commute. By tuesday, wednesday, things start to clear out. Temperatures start to warm up.
