Said its offer was 100 million less over four years than what the unions put up but a union rep said this morning that they were surprised by that number. They think its actually much smaller. B. A. R. T. Spoke he is person says they still need to hammer out salary, pension and medical contributions and overtime work rules so theres still a lot of ground to kofzer. Really depends how you calculate the numbers. If you want to apply the numbers the entire district, youre going to get one number, apply for four years, get another number and three years. Tend of the day, whatever the number is, it shows there is still a great difference, tens of millions of dollars, no matter how you look at it no matter how many years. I think our team, we all want to get it done. Im hoping that the district will come with the same conviction, the same drive and the same sense of importance to get this deal done so we can lay this all to rest and people can go about their normal lives, knowing they dont have to wait another 60 days, they are not being held hostage, all that is taken care of. Reporter b. A. R. T. Spokesperson said they would support 560day cooling off period if necessary but the atu spokesperson says they hope they dont have to go there.
