Winter weather advisory in effect through 9 00 tomorrow morning. Three to sich six inches of snow expected above 6,000 feet. Here at home light sprinkles as we feet. Zoom in closer anywhere from fairfield seeing light activity down towards martinez as the cell moves through. Concord, san ramon and danville. The heavier pockets denoted by yellow there. Dublin. And hayward along the 580. On the peninsula we have showers making their way through san mateo. Redwood city just got done with shower activity. Now making its way into palo alto and san jose. All of that will continue to spread south overnight. By 1 00 2 00 through the mountains as well. By 5 00 tomorrow morning pockets of showers. Heading through the morning the shower activity will die down. In fact by noon well start to see sunshine and the day will ends on a dry noted. Later this week well be talking about the return of 70s and 80s. Well talk about that summer weather headed our way. It is an end to ski season for some resorts in the sierra. A scary fall lands a 9yearold boy in the hospital. This happened at Hamilton School in movado. The boy was on the schools roof when he fell through a plastic sky light and crashed 30 feet below. A parent drove the boy to the hospital. He was then taken to oaklands childrens hospital. No word on the boys condition. A violent weekend across the bay area. Officers in three different counties opened fire on armed suspects. Two men are dead and several officers are on paid leave. The shootings happened over eight hours starting saturday evening in vallejo. Just an hour later an officer involved shooting in richmond. This morning a man was shot by police in santa clara. Christie smith is in front of a 7eleven in the south bay where the latest shooting happened. The officers showed up in the knick of time. Reporter thats what they are saying. How this turned out is that a robbery suspect was inside the store coming out about the same time two Police Officers happened to be pulling in. They say they tried to get him to comply but he would not. In the ends, they ended up opening fire. Makes near the 7eleven store at scott and monroe heard the gunfire overnight. We were playing video games and when we were going to bed we heard a couple of gunshots go off. Reporter he heard sirens. Police say it started when a robbery suspect opened fire. There is damage to the floor and a rack. Basically, somebody robds them at gunpoint and the cops happened to be pulling up as the robbers were rolling out. Reporter Santa Clara Police say two officers happened to drive up and saw a robbery. That the suspect fired a shot inside the store toward the clerk, who wasnt hurt then walked out and was confronted by police. The suspect didnt comply with ourends commands. And our officers fearing for their lives and citizenss lives that were in the parking lot of 7eleven discharged their wes, fatally woundsing the suspect. Reporter it was the third officerinvolved shooting in the bay area this weekend. In vallejo, Police Responded to reports of an agitated man armed with a knife by a shopping center. They say they saw he had a gun in his waist bands. They say he refused to drop and knife, advanced on the officer, and was shot and killed. That gun was later foupds to be a replica. In richmond, police say an arminged man was shot after a traffic stop. He ran and was injured in an exchange of gunfire. They say he has a criminal history. In santa clara residents say they were surprised it happened so close to home. This is a pretty peaceful town. Reporter the shootings of course are all under investigation. Tomorrow night San Franciscos police chief is holding a Community Meeting after a Police Shooting left one woman dead. This shooting happened last tuesday on pine street in van necessary. Police tried to approach the woman who was driving erratically in what they believed to be in a stolen car. She is identified as 24yearold alice brown. Tomorrows meeting takes place at 6 00 p. M. At the st. Lukes church hall on place street. The searchandrescue team is in yosemite looking for a missing 20yearold who was last seen yesterday morning near the yosemite fall area. He is described as 61 light brown or reddish hair and green eyes. He was wearing a hoodie sweat shirt and jeans. San jose leads 20. How about that . Friends of a man who died in an oakland Apartment Fire are trying to raise money to pay for his memorial service. They set up a go money me account for the man. So far they hope to raise 8,000 so they can bring his family to the service. He was one of 30 residents in the Apartment Building on 24th street that went up in flames yesterday morning. All but letona and another man got out safely. The county coroner has identified the other man as 36yearold mo thomas the cause of the fire is under investigation. Tonight we are getting a look at the damage left behind after a trail completely collapsed in marin county killing a hiker yesterday about 6 00. Rangers tell us two hikers came across arch rock. There were posted warnings about a crack in the trail but the two men kept hiking on the trail on the side of the crack closest to the ocean. It came down. And they were buried under the rubble. Good samaritans started digging them out from the rubble. One of the hikers died from their injuries. The other was transported to the santa rosa memorial hospital. The fate of the Oakland Raiders is sure to be a hot topic at this weeks nfl owners meeting in phoenix. Tomorrow owners will get the latest on efforts to relocate teams to los angeles. Some are speculating that the nations second largest tv market might be able to handle not just one but two franchises and the raiders could be one of them. The one thats moving through right now, again, it is a weak cold front. Most of the rain has been across parts of Northern California up near eureka. Another batch of heavy rain up there right now. If you are traveling tomorrow evening up towards Northern California eureka in particular expected to take a hammering from this next storm system. They got already half an inch of rain today from that storm. Another half inch expected with the next one. Unfortunately for us the storm track continues to remain so far to the north as it has been all winter long so there is not going to be a lot of rain tonight.
