Reporter hi, paula. This is a rapidly developing investigation right now. Top Kenyan Security officials are on the scene at the airport in mombasa. There are reports of at least one arrest of a passenger and that a suspected bomb has been found on that plane and more than 400 passengers and crew are now safe after a tense and frightening incident. It was air France Flight 463, a fully loaded boeing 777 headed for paris overnight, when it was forced to make an Emergency Landing in mombasa, kenya. After crew found a suspected bomb on board. Something wrong in the toilet, like it could be like a bomb, Something Like that. Reporter shortly after midnight, 459 passengers and 14 crew members were evacuated by the planes emergency slides then whisked away to a nearby hotel where this morning kenyan Officials Say several passengers are being questioned. Airport Officials Say investigators are zeroing in on two passengers who appear suspicious. Military bomb experts have retrieved the device, according to police, taking it away for dismantling. Theyre determining whether the components contained explosives. If this device was found 3 1 2 hours into the flight, its likely someone aboard that aircraft placed it in the lavatory. This will allow police to thoroughly screen the manifest and question everybody on board. Reporter a frightening incident for shaken parisians and for aviation officials still on edge after isis fighters claimed credit for detonating a bomb on a russian flight over egypt. These flights continue to be attractive to terrorists because its much easier to get a bomb or a device through security at a third world airport, at a smaller airport, than it is at a larger airport like new york or paris. This is the third air France Flight that has been diverted since those attacks in paris last month. But this one, it looks like right now, authorities are taking very, very seriously. Dan. Good morning, george, and good morning, gentlemen. Good morning, paula. Thank you very much. And, matthew dowd, we just heard cecilia say that both sides claiming victory. Are they right . You know, george, we have covered enough campaigns, everybody claims victory. All the time. I think in this case they are right. I think all three walked away with their best performance theyve had in the course of this campaign. I think Hillary Clinton had her a game yesterday. She brought it, she did well. Bernie sanders brought it. And i think Martin Omalley even did well in the course of this, so i think they can all be happy. I think the happiest person is Hillary Clinton. She starts out with a 30point lead nothing changes. Started out the night, jon karl, with that apology, but after the debate, the Sanders Campaign announced they have suspended two more staffers, and half a dozen may have been involved. Is this over . Well, look, so, you have one person fired and two suspended. More possibly coming. Its not over. He apologized. But what was interesting, even as he apologized, he had bitter words about the dnc and how they handled it. He said this was egregious and, look, the Hillary ClintonCampaign Still thinks this was a serious breach of their personal, of their proprietary data. Thats what they believe. Meantime, the Sanders Campaign believes that the dnc is on the side of Hillary Clinton. And theyre very mad about it. Theyre very mad about it. Donald trump front and center last night, attacked nine separate times. The only republican candidate mentioned. All the democrats said hes the candidate they want to run against. He put out a tweet late last night saying, no, no, thats what theyre saying, theyre afraid of me. Many of us didnt think he was going to get in this race, now every republican pivots off of him. And now the democrats are all pivoting off donald trump in the course of this race. Donald trump was also happy last night. Donald trump was the only republican mentioned. It will only help him in the course of the republican primary. Maybe not only the winner here was Hillary Clinton but donald trump. So this is the last debate of this year. Weve got now about six weeks until the votes in iowa and new hampshire. For this race to change, what has to happen . The big thing is, Bernie Sanders needs to pull off a win in iowa. If he can pull off a win in iowa, then he comes in here where hes right now, arguably the favorite in new hampshire, two big wins, he still faces an uphill battle in all of the 48 states. But that would create quite a dynamic. Weve never seen a candidate come in lose both those contests and go on to win okay, guys, thanks very much. Lets go back to paula. Thank you, george. We do move now to a disturbing new video of a Fatal Shooting involving two sheriffs deputies in los angeles, and it is raising new questions about what exactly happened when they shot and killed a man they were trying to handcuff. That attorney is asking for criminal prosecution of the officers. The victim shot multiple times at close range. This newly released video shows those final moments. And we should warn you, it can be difficult to watch. This morning, newly released cell phone video showing the critical moments leading up to the Fatal Shooting of 23yearold noel aguilar in long beach, california, last year. Watch as these two deputies struggle with aguilar on the ground, attempting to make an arrest. One deputy fires a shot at aguilar, but accidentally shoots the other deputy. Ive been shot reporter moments later, aguilars shot multiple times. Those deputies continuing to hold him down even after hes shot. Im dying reporter this video heartbreaking for aguilars family. He was just so happy waiting for our daughter. When he got killed, i was five months pregnant. Reporter and now at the center of a pending legal battle. Do i believe if my client was executed . Absolutely. The Police Officer is not supposed to be on top of the victim, especially when theyre shot and theyre dying. Reporter according to the family lawyer, a similar video was given to the los angeles district attorney, the d. A. Concluding in february that aguilar had been under the influence of marijuana and methamphetamine and that they acted in lawful selfdefense and in defense of others when they used deadly force. But the family thinks otherwise. What everybody wants to see including my clients and myself is prosecution. Reporter now, Officials Say an internal Affairs Investigation was also completed in this case. That will be presented in january. As for this newly released video, the District Attorneys Office says they will review it. The deputies in question are currently back at work in the field. A lot of questions here because the deputies say he had a gun and thats the issue here, were they really under threat when they fired those fatal shots . Must have been tough for the family to watch. Were going to move now to a warning for anyone considering buying a drone for christmas, youll have to register with the government starting tomorrow. These flying machines have been wreaking havoc in the skies. And the faa wants to keep tabs on them. Starting monday, if you own a drone weighing over a half a pound, youll have to register online with the faa. This is about having a National Registry of folks who are owners of drones and users of drones. Reporter it will cost 5 bucks to sign up, but the faa is making registration free for the first 30 days. You give them your name, address, email and credit card information. The feds give you a tracking number to clearly display on your drone and kids as young as 13 will have to have their parents register for them. As more drones swarm the sky, the government wants greater accountability and responsibility for pilots after growing numbers of dangerous close calls. Saturday, a brawl between nearly a dozen people breaking out, causing one person to pull out a handgun opening fire. I saw a flood of customers, women, children, just running towards the back. Reporter one witness saying he was nearby the moment this man got shot in the leg. Cell phone camera rolling as a mall employee rushed to his aid.
