And reena. France is reeling from this attack. The worst terrorist attack in half a century. French authorities have named the three men they believe took part in the attack and one of them, an 18yearold, has already turned himself in to police in a town about 2 1 2 hours northeast of paris. Police have put out a wanted poster for the other two men who they say are armed and dangerous. Brothers in their 30s named said and cherif kouachi. Cherif was sentenced to three years in prison in 2008 for sending young men to war. They called out the names of the victims and shot them one by one. President obama spoke to president hollande from france to express his condolences and tens of thousands gathered across france to mark this tragic event. In paris, holding up signs saying we are not afraid and in french i am charlie tweeted more than 650,000 time. President hollande declared thursday to be a national day of mourning.
