Officials dont know if the plain is the same one reported missing from read hill airport yesterday afternoon. That plane was headed to the Henderson Executive Airport near las vegas. A neighbor describes what he heard when the plane went down near bakersfield. Extremely faint thud, nothing else. I was actually expecting something loud. Since i hurt a very faint thump, i thought nothing happened. For some reason in my mind, im thinking fate. It was just really weird. The Kern County Sheriffs office said they dont know how many were on board but theres no indication of any survivors. More news out of kenya where Police Official says no explosives were found yet in a suspicious device on an air France Flight head today paris. It caused the plane to be diverted. A passenger noticed something in one of the planes bathrooms. It looked like a stopwatch mounted on a box. They reported it to the cabin crew and the pilots made an energy landing. All 459 passengers and have crewmembers were safely evacuated. Kenyon Officials Say six passengers were questioned about that device. Police say he got off a bus and ran behind it on to the street when a black bmw hit him. Paramedics rushed hip to the hospital where he died a few hours later. Police are now asking any witnesses to contact them immediately. An elderly san jose woman is dead after getting lost on her way home from the store friday afternoon. Her mother walked to the walgreens to pick up a prescription and never returned home. Her daughter spoke with me through a translator. Drive around, tried looking for her. They couldnt find her. They would never have thought to look nearly 4 miles away on center road. Thats where she was at around 3 00 a. M. A driver crashed into her. When he stopped to help, another driver slammed into her too. That person was driving a silver saturn and kept on going. She wanted to reporter shes the 54th person to die in a crash this year. On monday a woman riding her bike also in south san jose was hit by a pickup truck. She died immediately. The sisters heard about that crash and were just talking about it. Keep reminding her mom, be careful when you are walking outside. Unfortunately this happened to her. Police are on the lookout for the driver of the silver saturn. They found the man unresponsive in the Fraternity House around 7 30 yesterday morning. They tried to resuscitate him but were not successful. Weve been talking with witnesses and weve been talking to members of the fraternity, examining evidence at the scene to figure out exactly what happened. Police say the man was in his early 20s. Autopsy results are pending. In palo alto, this man, anthony ray price, is in the san jose county jail for attempted auto burglary and several misdemeanor charges. Police say a private Security Officer detained him as he was trying to break into a car earlier last week. Investigators say price was under the influence of drugs at the time. He was at the harbors Ucla Medical Center in torrance to after injuries from an earlier fight with police who were trying to arrest hi for vandalism. As officers were escorting him on a gurney to go to jail they took off his handcuffs to reposition him. Police said he tried to start another fight. The suspect picked up a metal stool within the emergency room and it was about that time that the officer tried to use the taser. That didnt work. Then a witness stated that the suspect reached for one of the officers guns. Thats when an officer fired one shot at him. Doctors and nurses rushed the man into surgery, but he later died. He was the 20th person killed by onduty lapd officers this year. Memorial services ended for three of the 14 People Killed in the San Bernardino terrorist attack. During services yesterday relatives recalled sierra claibornes smile and her sweet demeanor. Nicholas was remembered for his devotion to his wife and his faith. And michael wetzels family spoke about his love for his six children. The relatives of all 14 victims met privately with president obama friday night in San Bernardino, and they shared stories about their loved ones. Starting tomorrow the faa will require all drones to be registered to make it easier to identify owners. According to the faa, drones cannot weigh more than 55 pounds that includes if a camera is attached. The Unmanned Aircraft must also be marked with the owners unique Registration Number that would allow officers to track down owners in they violate any ruse. Registration will cost five dollars and it must be renewed every three years. California State University has received a Record Number of applications for the upcoming 2016 fall term.
