The teens fell off and the branch struck the boy in the head. The witness tells me he gave the boy cpr, but he quickly realized there was no hope because it looked like the boys neck was badly broke. The victims parents and other adults were at the park celebrating a birthday, all of them gathered and wept. It was like, oh, wow. I feel very bad for the family and during the holidays and my prayers go out to them. Reporter Oakland Police say it appears this was all an unfortunate accident. As the boys body was taken away, his parents were are given a chance to have a moment with their son. They thanked the police and went home in tears. At lake merritt, alan wong, abc 7. Police are searching for a man who stole a package and more from a sunnyvale home. He walked up, grabbed the package and went back to his car, but he wasnt done. He hopped bag out and grabbed two oranges from a bush. It happened thursday afternoon. Police say its a reminder to set up delivery times for when youre home and also report suspicious activity in your neighborhood. A huge pile of stolen mail has been recovered stolen from several homes. More than 1,000 pieces were found during a probation search at a fairfield mail, police say it was stolen from at least 24 mail boxes. Investigators are in the process of contacting the victims. Its a long process because were dealing with that much paperwork, that much mail. And numerous jurisdictions. Reporter mario wood was a suspect in a stabbing on wednesday. Officers later found him holding a 6inch knife. They told him several times to drop the weapon. Nonlethal bean bags were fired.
