He is considered armed and dangerous. Reporter police were called to this home on south b street. Found a woman that had a stab wound. Reporter minutes later, the man suspected in this homicide, 22yearold, anthony kirincic, clipped a car on highway 101. The driver of that car followed him here to this san carlos medical facility. Thats thats where police began an afternoonlong search. They mobilized two teams to sweep through the building. Neighbors watched this police action. Some worried about what was going on. Dave morrison owns a business across the street. His employees called him wondering what they should do. They called in to sheriff dispatch. They had said, you might want to shelter in place. Theres a guy loose somewhere. And we had women in our business. They were nervous about it. Reporter morrison dismissed his employees early to be on the safe side. Police were not able to find kirincic in the medical building. But said that the stabbing was involved in Domestic Violence. It was not the first time they had been to the san mateo house. Weve been there for a number of times for Domestic Violence cases. Reporter neighbors said they heard them fighting several times. In san mateo, abc 7 news. More developing news, now. Costa contra county. One person is dead after a car went into an embankment last night near San Pablo Dam road. It happened around 11 00 at night. Chp officers found the car in a tree. The driver was ejected and unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. Were waiting to hear from chp about any additional information. We have details where two women walking along a bike path found a newborn baby girl. They are searching for the person who left that infant along a river bed in compton. Amy powell from our sister station in l. A. Has the latest. Its a baby. Reporter this woman found the cries of a newborn baby when taking a walk with her sister. You hear that baby crying . I said, i dont know. It might be a cat. My sister said, no, its a baby crying. Reporter the women were walking along the bike path at 106 street and slater. They dialed 911 when they learned that the cries were coming from a crevasse covered with asphalt and debris. Sheriffs deputies arrived and found a baby girl buried under a foot of rubble. The infant was wrapped in a hospital blanket. Theres indication that the child was born at a medical facility or a hospital. The baby was between 24 and 36 hours old. Reporter this woman gets emotional as he talks about how sad she felt when she heard the baby. She said the newborn stopped crying when the deputy cradled her. Authorities say the baby is hospitalized in stable condition. If the child had spent the night there, in those conditions, the baby wouldnt have survived. Reporter an l. A. County official says a life was saved in this case. But he urges mothers that dont want to keep a child, to partake in safe surrender. A terrifying experience for a woman in mill valley, woken up by a Stranger Holding a gun and demanding money. The search is still on for that robber. Police say it happened just after 5 30 friday morning near shady lane. And not clear how much he got away with at this point. Neighbors told abc 7 news its time to do something about their safety. Surprised. And concerned. I plugged in my security cameras as soon as i read about it. I had unplugged them. I had gotten a sense of security that i dont feel now. Fortunately, the woman wasnt hurt. There was no sign of forced entry at the home. Police combed the neighborhood but were not able to find a suspect. If your Christmas Tree seems a little off this year, you can blame the drought. A patio gave way for a large sinkhole. At a home on edge way. They were digging a trench and retaining wall. We were sitting on the couch. And we heard, like dropping a book on dirt. We go uhoh, where is the dog . We walk outside. And we have an eightfoot to tenfoot sinkhole. Where our patio walkway used to be. That homeowner just wants his house back in one piece. An autopsy is being performed to see how a suspected burglar died in a chimney. This happened yesterday afternoon in the Fresno County city of herron. A homeowner had just lit a fire, when he heard someone screaming. He tried to put out the flames as the house filled up with smoke. You think of santa claus coming down the chimer in is all open. Most chimneys have a big metal plate that you cant get through. Theres about a fourinch gap. Firefighters used jackhammers to knock down the chimney. The man was responsible during the rescue but died soon after. He rummaged through the house on friday before getting trapped in the chimney. Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a home in the rural area of the east bay. Abc 7 news was in the San Ramon Valley yesterday afternoon. You can see the smoke. Fire crews were alerted just before 1 00 p. M. About flames coming out of a ranch house on johnson road. The house was engulfed when crews arrived. A neighbor and his son wanted to help. We were going down the road. A few people were outside the garage. And we helped them get out. Get an old, old vehicle out of the garage. And other people came down, as well. An attack on a planned parenthood clinic in colorado was a crime against women. The gunman killed three people and wounded nine others, five of them policemen. Officers arrested robert dear who was not injured. He muttered something about no more baby parts as he was led away. Planned parenthood said he was motivated by opposition to safe and legal abortion. Police have not yet confirmed the motive. Brandi hitt has the latest from Colorado Springs where the community is mourning. Reporter in the small weather town of hartsel, authorities surrounded a white trailer. Residents say its the home of 57yearold robert lewis dear, the man who accused of shooting friday, at a planned parenthood clinic 60 miles away in Colorado Springs. I dont know what happened to him. On the new movie the good dinosaur, she is the shading art director. Textures have come a long way since the base of monsters inc. We had to limit the amount of hairy monsters we had. It was a very expensive thing. Reporter now, its about as real as it gets. We got a wig. And we threw all of the dirt and leaves in it. Thought it was like Elizabeth Taylors hair. Reporter though the finished film is made up of pixels and pollygons, the process of getting there involves pencils, paint brushes and pieces of clay. The early character concepts were sculpted by hand. They can work on it forever. And once its final, its cast. Reporter the shape is only the beginning. What color are the eyes .
