We had pretty strong onshore winds and that will lend itself to depositing floating Marine Mammals onshore more and this beach tends to be more of a collection site for dead Marine Mammals and it was as if people stopped what they were doing to come see and take pictures of this creature. Its too bad that the whale had to wash up and die, but you know, thats life. Its the way of the ocean. Lisa martinez and rachel cruz came from modest onto hike here today never expecting to see a whale.
