The mud also took down a power line. Residents nearby almost seemed happy about the situation. Were getting some decent rain this year. It is finally coming back to i think we might be on a good year. So its okay to see a mud slide here or there as long as no one gets hurt. Just part of living in the mountains. Cal trans hopes to have the road reopened sometime tonight. In the meantime take highway 17. A neighborhood in vallejo has been without power for 24 hours after strong winds brought down a power pole on their street. Sounded like an explosion at about 9 00 last night. Reporter by the time this is over it will be more than 24 hours without power. Pg e is saying midnight before they solve this problem. They are making progress. They called in the reinforcements. But sources knowledge of the investigation tell us that is because they are all waiting for the medical examiner to release dna test results which may answer some big, big questions. But now since the suspect is dead we may never know exactly happened. Mark andrews was the only suspect in this disturbing death. And he died saturday after admitting himself into a hospital. Our source says they wanted to keep him under observation for several days. Baugh published report says he died later in the hospital of septic shock related to drugs. A big obstacle to solving this gruesome crime. Certainly he was a suspect in this case. So it makes it, you know difficult trying to track down probably a crime scene or other evidence that were looking into. Police found the suitcase with a headless torso january 28th. A leg was discovered in a garbage bin across the street. The 54yearold transient was arrested two days later. He was visiting a friend mark kiever who lives there. But on tuesday Police Released andrews because prosecutors said they didnt have enough evidence to formally charge them. Hes trying to determine through dna samples if the body is that is of the 58yearold omar shawan andrewss former roommate and fan. People say he disappeared seven days before the case was found.
