An oakland teacher and coach has been put on leave after a video surfaced showing him in a violent altercation with a student on a bus. Not only are they concerned about what appears on this video, but, also, about why they werent informed about it right after it happened. According to the district, the student is a senior. The adult, the j. V. Football coach named carlos anderson. It happened on september 19th as he was returning from a game in crescent city. Based on the visual evidence, it appears that the First Physical contact was initiated by the adult. Thats the main area of concern. There was an opportunity to deelse clat before the push occurred. There is an investigation under way to determine what precipitated the fight. And, also, why it wasnt reported to the principal or the district before the video suddenly appeared on twitter. Anderson is on paid leave following an investigation by the district. Were learning more today about the latest step at the santa clara counselty main jail. Its the second death there in just more than a month. The man with a 33yearold inmate reports he was on suicide watch when he was found unresponsive yesterday morning. A person familiar with the investigation tells abc 7 news the man was on the eighth floor where inmates with Mental Health issues are housed. The Santa Clara Countys office say it is changing response to the previous death. Weve had community meetings, more than one transparent. These are some of the things that came up and thats why were doing it. Well, back in august, michael tireed died at the jail. Three deputies now face murder charges. We now know two men shot and killed inside the car. Police say victims died shortly after 8 15 last night in the area of san pablo avenue. Authorities have no suspects or even a possible motive at this point. A man is concerned about the unusual number of seals warbling ashore. This january, the Organization Says 80 have washed ashore, 42 of them dead. Th thats eight times the normal amount. Officials say the increase in stranded seals is likely because of unusually warm water. Researchers hope to learn more about the first seals hablts by studying the ones that washed ashore. And if it wasnt for security camera, many in this neighborhood probably would have thought that a coyote snatched gogo. But it wasnt. I think, so. You know what you did. Miriam petrova is devastated. Her 17yearold cat, gogo is missing. He was cat napped. Heres the security video thats going viral. It was about 9 30 monday night last week. He had just eaten dinner and was lounging on the front lawn when the car stopped abruntly. The cat napper got out, approached gogo who tried to escape. It looked like somebody who knew what to do. You have to drop the cat and run away or the cat will bite you. The cat napper snatched him. He was so sleep,he didnt hurt anybody. Its been a difficult week for gogos mom. She filed a Police Report and put up posters all over the neighborhood and visited animal shelters. Theyre looking, like, are you serious . What are you talking about . Missing cats have become coming. So have coyote sightings. But stolen cats . Its hard to figure out what the motivation is for taking another persons cat. Gogo is a longhaired orange mix. And he has a lion haircut. Take a good look. A reward . Well, thats out of the question. We shouldnt pay terrorists. And i think these look like terrorists, as for me. Thousands of 49ers fans are trying to get rid of their seat licenses at levis stadium. They say essentially every change the team has made has been a failure for season ticket holders. Theyre not happy at all. Chris wynn is live tonight with the story. Youll see it only on abc 7 news. Chris . Dan, good evening. Its easy to point to at that times record as an excuse for selling. But as we found out today, some of the teams most faithful fans are saying theyve had enough of what they found to be a very sterile experience here at levi. A number of ticketholders are seeking different ways to enjoy game day. I want to sell it. I dont want to own it no more. Im here to support the home team, but it seems like theyre making it worse for us. San jose resident bought seat licenses at 12,000 a piece plus 2,000 per year for the actual ticket. Now theyre trying to get rid of them. Blaming the heat and a lackluster tailgating atmosphere. Were getting beat up by the soon. Here, youre going to drink beer and get beat up. Coming home with sunburn. Its just a bad experience. License holder of San Francisco agrees. Saying something isnt right about levis stadium. I dont think it has a whole lot of character. I dont think theres anything unique about it that speaks to the 49ers as a team or of the fans as a franchise. The 49ers changed their ticket policy opting for digital delivery. License holders dont have access until 48 hours before the game, making it harder for them to sell. We just hope that the 49ers would look at us as having already purchased these tickets and let us do what we want with them rather than placing all of these restrictions. Both men say its going to be hard to sell their licenses. In fact, more than 3,000 licenses are currently for sale in the markt place
