At lombard street and buchanan, workers cut up a large tree that crashed on a trius. Joe stefani was driving northbound when he saw the tree come crashing down. The roots rocked over the top of the car, and the roots were up in the air as it rocked over the car. But it just went right across all lanes of traffic. Reporter ficus trees have been problematic this rainy season. The weight of the water on the already topheavy trees causes them to fall. First comes, i bought a coat, then decided to return it within seven days but the store would only give me credit, not cash. Is that legal . Yeah, totally is. Here in the state of california, the rule is pretty simple. The store can do anything they want as long as they told you in advance of your purchase what their policy is. They actually dont have to take any returns or exchanges. As long as they have that posted somewhere near the cash register, then they can do whatever they want. That simple. My Cable Provider is dropping a channel i like. I have two more years with them. This seems like theyre breaching the contract. Can i cancel . Well, depends what your contract says, although ive got to tell you, most cable contracts, if you get to the fine print, says we can change the channels any time we want, blah, blah, blah. So basically you are getting the entire service, you cant pick and choose which ones you want, at least according to that contract. Now, if you still have your contract and if its old enough and i mean really old, like you were an early adopter you might be able to get out of it. You might be able to call up and complain and get out of it. If it were that simple, they would never get anybody for canceling a contract. Well see how it goes. Yeah. Right. Good luck. And via fiacebook, i ordered something from a Company Offering something for one price, then they realized they listed the wrong price. Do they have to give it to me for the price they advertised it for . I get a lot of this, especially this time of year. Everybody thinks if someone else made a mistake its in concrete and they get free stuff. If they make the mistake its simply forgiven. Heres the state of the law. Thats the way i look at it. Heres the deal. If theyre setting you up so you will show up, so that you will spend money and they jerk it away from you, thats illegal. Thats bait and switch. If they simply put the wrong price on there, they are allowed to come back and say my bad and were not selling it at that price. Intent is kind of what it comes down to. Yeah. Truly. Yeah.
